Wow, Twippo! That is simply amazing! Your art is so realistic! And for me, that is far from simple, my simple consists of stick figures.
Great job!

Hey, I changed my wallpaper!
Yeah, so I am currently obsessed with this show right now. Sorry if that seems a little crazy, but it's very addicting.

Wow, your artwork and stuff is amazing Twipo! You're my idol! I hope someday I can draw like that! You think you could give me pointers on my art? There's a link to my A-U art gallery in the Fan Art Directory.

Do you draw ordinary people at all? All I've seen is famous people and i think it would be really neat if you drew people that everyone doesnt know of, they can be a lot more interesting and more of a challenge.
It looks like you specialize in eyes, all of the eyes, even in the first drawing, are great. I think your noses are the weakest part but theyre still really good.

Eruraina: Thank you! Perhaps you could post the link in this thread and I can comment on it when I get the time!
Kit: Thank you! I haven't really gotten to watching this season though. I just get the DVD's because I can't wait through all the commercials.
Sephiroth: Hey, that's a great idea! I sometimes draw non-celebrities for commissions, but other than that, not really. I think it would be a challenge because all the celebrity photos that I use for reference have perfect lighting, their faces are relatively flawless, etc. but I think that there is beauty in every face, just different for what is popularly accepted in various cultures. Perhaps when I find a good picture I will draw it and post it! Thanks!

Eruraina: I think you have a very good eye for proportions. I've never drawn a horse, but from my perspective as a graphite artist what I recommend is just being bolder. I'm not seeing a whole lot of depth, and you could use a lot more shading in your drawings. Use darker tones and generally just increase the contrast and the wow factor. Because usually, unless the style is absolutely stunning, lightly drawn pictures are less likely to impress than bold contrasted ones.
In addition, I suggest that you study the hair very close. It's a big part of what makes the horse such a majestic creature. I assume you are shooting for photo realism, so look at how the hair changes with light and as you go down the strand, etc. as opposed to just drawing a bush for a tail without considering light sources and shadows.
I also you recommend spending as much time as you possibly can on your drawings. Never rush a drawing or it will show! Really take the time to fix parts that look odd or unrealistic because in the end, don't you really just want a picture that looks like a photograph so what's the point of not achieving that goal? I usually spend 8-10 hours on average per portrait but I don't know how it's different for animals.
Here's an example of what to shoot for, with respects to contrast, tones, etc.:

hope I helped a bit!

Twippo you never fail to amaze me!But I do agree with Sephiroth. What would actually be very interesting is if you took one person that was considered beautiful from some of the more know countries as sort of a ...what would you call it a collection.
