Ok.... lol this is something I wrote up last year when I was really bored. It's kind of crazy/stupid so bear with me.



Theres a boy I know who's been everywhere,
To the pyramids in Egypt and cross every sea.
From the Amazon river to the desert bare,
China, and Hongkong, and up to DC.

Well, just last night he flew to the moon,
He's been traveling since the day of his birth.
I'm surprised to see him home so soon.
He caught a flying star on his way back to earth.

Australia gave him a warm welcome too,
He thought he might go back again.
He took home a pet kangaroo,
And kept it in his rhinoceros pen.

Well, he sailed the oceans for a year or so,
Dove to the bottom found treasures of gold.
But you see now hes got no where else to go,
He doesn't want sit around and grow old.

So he formed an expedition to Atlantis today,
Where he found it last year on the ocean floor.
He figured that would be a good place to stay,
Since he cant travel much anymore.

He didn't want me to tell anyone where he was,
No one would listen if I did anyway.
But I decided to write this poem because,
This young man went away today.

Said something about the earth's central core,
And a heat resistant drilling machine.
So, he called me up once more,
To watch over all his pets and things.

I'm putting food in the water dish,
And water in the food pan.
I'm scraping food to all the fish,
From month old dog food cans.

The bathrooms flooded because the water is running,
And I'm in pain because the stingray is stunning.
Theres muddy footprints on the floor,
Because I left open the third back door.
And I just can't take it anymore!

I like it. It's nothing whatsoever like what you usually write, but I completely agree- it has an awesome Dr. Seuss aspect to it. It's still very good.

Yeah, it's a lot different from what i usualy write.

Just every once in a while I end up writting something that is completely different from mynormal. ButI think that's a good thing, it helps me stretch my limits.
