Yeah I have such plans even though I'm planning to just go by myself or with one friend.
Hmmm...I doubt the Germans are too happy with England as well. Nor do the Muslim fundamentalists. And I doubt the native South Africans can really forgive England for what it did in that country. But really, I really love England.

To eowyn: Yeah I think the British Empire was the largest overseas empire.

Yep, pretty much everyone hates us for the large Empire we had, which did both bad things for people (slavery etc), but also it did a lot of good things.

Liverpool made most of it's money from the slave trade, as it was one of the busiest dock cities in the world. Sad but true.

We actually had the biggest empire ever (I beleive). The Welsh, Scots and Irish all hate us because we spent ages fighting them in their own countries, and ened up supressing them. the French hate us 'cos we were constantly fighting each other for hundreds of years. I don't beleive that the Germans have problem with us (though the lower classes appear to have a problem with the germans) And I think that lots of our old empire don't like us over much either. :P

Owh White Man's Burden...
When browsing through the posts, I actually came up with something good from the good ol' imperial days... but it slipped my mind again.... I'm sorry.
But let's face it... everyone has enemies... even.. er.. Switzerland, although they've always tried to stay politically neutral.
(Darrell, I like the way you refer to 'your old empire', cute!!)

Yeah, but I can see why "normal" classes don't like the Germans - I mean they bombed London! And that's like the worse thing anyone could possibly do, is annoy Londoners. And also there were a heck of a lot of docks and factories bombed in Northern Englad, and I wouldn't suggest anyone should annoy Northerners - at all. Ee, were a plucky lot us Brits.

You'll remember it soon Eä :D

And who did switzerland make enemies with? they have never got involved in anything. Ever. No chance to make enemies.

[cute? What? How? It is (was) our empire, and as it is in the past, it is old. Therefore, our old empire!]

Umm.. since this isn't a thread about Switzerland I.. ehh.. I shall refrain from venture further into said topic.
Instead I shall bore you with the first verse of White Man's Burden by Rudyard Kipling (and if anyone ever wants me to name Switzerland's enemies, I shall post the rest *ze evil laugh*):

Take up the White Man's burden-
Send forth the best ye breed-
Go, bind your sons to exile
To serve your captives' need;
To wait, in heavy harness,
On fluttered folk and wild-
Your new-caught sullen peoples,
Half devil and half child.

[I can't explain why Darrel... you ask too many questions, lol... cute just appeared to be a fitting word! *pets*]

to be fair, us brits are all descended from celts (who originated on the continent), romans (from italy, obviously), angles and saxons (from modern day germany), vikings (from denmark and norway) and normans (from france), so we can really blame the rest of europe for our bad behaviour.

Oooo...pretty...*goes to read poem* I'm trying to learn Auguries of Innocence by heart at the moment...so hard...

If we had an empire, did we ever have an emperor...? Kings have kingdoms...just wondering :)

Who is Jason Isaacs? British? White? Imperial?
Glad you like the poem Wingfoot, it makes it at least one person...

Aye, Jason Isaacs is in my siggy. He is pure evil love I tell you! *swoons* And yes Eä, he's a fellow Brit. Plays Lucius Malfoy in HP and in my sig he's Colonel Tavington from "The Patriot".
