Personality: A bit withdrawn because of a rather different quality: he's gay. Can be quite conversational with someone he's gotten to know.

Isabelle looked over at the boy who had spoken to her. She smiled, her former bad mood now abandoned for a more pleasant one. "Thanks," she said, lifting up her drawing so he could see it more. It was of a red Chinese Flying Dragon. "The Chinese Flying Dragons are probably my favorite kind," she told him.

Her smile widened when he pulled out his notebook and told her that he liked to draw too. "That's really cool," she commented, "I'm Isabelle by the way." That was when the Professor started speaking. She sighed, expecting a long lecture, but it was surprisingly brief.

"Wow, that was short," she said, turning back to the boy sitting beside her, "So what's your name?"

Nicholas nodded and looked back at the professor. Well, all the better for them. Looking back, he held out his hand and smiled warmly.

"I'm Nicholas. Nick, if you like."

Emma glanced at the two. Inviting herself into the conversation, (as she had a horrible habit of doing) "I'm Emma Walker. Em for short." she grinned.

Isabelle took his hand and shook it. "It's good to meet you, Nick," she said in a friendly voice. She was glad to be making a friend this early in the school year.

She then turned her head when she heard a girl speaking. "Hello, Em," she said in greeting, "I'm Isabelle." She fished around for something else to say. That was her problem. She was always glad to meet new people, but she floundered when it came to starting conversations.

"So are you guys excited about this school year?" she asked after a brief pause. She cringed inwardly. Great. She sounded like one of those overly friendly greeters that always spoke to the students at the beginning of the school year. "I'm really looking forward to getting my dragon," she continued, hoping she wasn't making too much of a dork of herself, "Even if we do have to go through a bunch of classes before we get one."

Nicholas, not noticing in the slightest how she did sound like a greeter, swirved in his chair so that he could face her.

"Yeah, actually, I am." At the mention of dragons, his face lit up as he beamed. "And I cannot wait to get my dragon. Dad says that he already picked one out for me, but of course, I have to finish school..."

"You'll be surprised how early you get them," Professor commented. "After the first semester, which encompass the boring-caring-for-your-dragon courses, you'll receive a dragon egg in your locker. Keep in mind, that dragon eggs are hard to come by and rarely given to humans so don't be disappointed if yours doesn't come out all right. I'm sure they will, giving the diverse species of dragons and personalities in this school. You should be lucky you get them so early. They made us wait for two years while we learned the most boring things in the world that we never used. I guess they figured they might as well give them to you early so you have more experience."

Louisa listened to the short lesson intently, and was glad it was already over.
"So far he's my favorite teacher!" Louy said, and walked down to Em and Nick.
"Hi, I'm Louisa... but please call me Louy. And I can't wait to get my dragon egg. It's going to be awsome!" she also heard what the teacher said about getting the eggs earlier.
"Even better we get them earlier than later," she grinned, and glanced out the window to see a green dragon fly by...

Edward saw the other people around him talking but he didn't get into any conversations. He was an outcast in the schools he went to. He sighed a sign of relief that the class was so short. He was also quite happy that they get their dragons so soon but he didn't make notice of it. He sat there with an expressionless face.

Emma smiled. "Yeah, it'll be brilliant! I hope I get a good one." she said. She glanced at Louy, then followed her gaze. She gaped. "Look at that one! It's enormous!" she grinned at Louy, Nick and Isabelle. "I want one like that, but I hope it's in blue. It's such a pretty colour."

A boy to the side yawned quite a bit. Mark felt like he had heard this before, but there were a few interesting tidbits in it. Suddenly his eye caught Nicholas, and he had to force himself to keep his jaw from dropping. This was interesting.


OoC.Nicholas is in the room, correct?

Isabelle beamed at hearing that they would get their dragons so soon. Still, it was too long to wait for her. Patience wasn't one of her strong points. "I'm so excited!" she exclaimed with enthusiasm.

"Look at that one! It's enormous!" she heard Emma exclaim.

Isabelle looked over to see what had caught everyone's attention. She gasped and then grinned as her eyes just caught sight of the dragon flying by. "Wow, it was beautiful," she breathed. When Emma commented on how she wanted a blue dragon, Isabelle said, "I would like a red one. They are so beautiful."

Edward chuckled to himself seeing all the people making such a big deal out of everything. He saw someone staring at Nicholas and wondered what was so interesting. He turned back to the story he had been writing,



'Edward rode atop his dragon over the bloodstained battlefield. Seeing his friend he dove down and landed to the side. Dismounting he strode over to Sam and saw him gaping wide-eyed at the battefield. edward saw a tear roll down his cheek and turned to see what he was looking at. His father,who was another soldier in the battle,was lying on the ground covered in his own blood.'


Edward glanced up to see if anyone was paying attention to him. To what he could tell no one even noticed him. which was okay with him though he would like to have atleast one friend in this school.
