I used to...but I can't now *shudder* It just always seemed to be on when I was eating...and I can't eat and watch the contestants eat cockroaches or something...
Not to mention the host Joe is a sexist pig. All the women contestants have huge breasts and are really skinny; they're not good examples of an average woman in my opinion, and they all have to put up with Joe hitting on them and staring at their chests. That makes me want to gag almost as much as the cockroaches do.

I'm sorry if I come off as a little harsh I don't mean to offend anyone :)

Well, I'm not necessarily sure that the fact that all women are there in bikinis is Joe's fault. After all, there is a crew involved you know. He's just the host, the one that tells everyone what to do and everything. He doesn't actually run Fear Factor. Besides the fact that (to say it shamefully enough), with the way our culture is now, that is exactly the kind of thing people want to see on television. It would not surprise me at all if the main reason for that was to please the viewers...especially the male ones. And I don't necessarily think Joe sounds like he's hitting on them, it just sounds like he knows how to talk to people. He's better at socializing than I am, that's for sure! :confused2:

And I LOVE Fear Factor. We don't watch it as much anymore because we forget what time it is most of the time, but the Second Stunts are always my favorite! :-D (though I still wouldn't eat during them if I were you...) I just love it because I really think it is the most challenging of the stunts...and it's cool to see people so close to wimping out for some reason...*shrugs* I dunno. Call me crazy! :-D

i used to watch this a lot, but well...just seemed to get a little old i guess, and too gross. :confused2: seriously, my dad couldn't handle it during the eating parts. he'd just walk out of the room while my brother and i, the brave souls we are (:P), watched.

I don't go out of my way to watch it but if I'm flipping through channels and I find it, I'll watch it :) I liked it a lot more before...it's gotten really gross...

Lol Gwen! :-D Yes, I do agree with you guys on most of those points though. The eating really has gotten scary. :confused2: I still watch it, but my mom literally can't stand it. She gags and gags if she even watches it for five minutes. I mean, imagine drinking a maggot/cockroach/redworm shake! >insert well-needed green-faced smilie here<

I like Fear Factor. My mom hates it because of how "cruel" they are to the contestants. My thoughts are if people are really willing do all that, then let them! Most of them have a good reason anyway. And I don't think all the good-looking women are Joe's fault. That's just what most people want. Half of it might be air-brushing and digital retouching anyway.

I do agree Taurquende. Like Melphie said, Joe is definately not the only one doing the work in Fear Factor. He's just the one that goes in there and tells everyone what to do and just kind of keeps everything in order. And a big part of the way the women look is (I do agree) because of what people these days like. And I'm glad I'm not the only one who has a mother that gets faint when watching the Second Stunt! :-D
