(Where is Lady Raelyn, anyway?)

Alendariel restocked her arrows, and smiled at Constince and Gernhart before remounting Galadelen and riding to find Eruraina.

*Sarien and Legolas mounted their steeds, and were eager to get going.*

Alendariel searched for a time. Sighing, she returned to the cave, unsuccessful.

(Ok it seems that I am going to be playing Lady Rae's character's for a time as she has gone on a mission trip)

Raelyn walked over to Crandol (BTW she forgot what name she was using in that last post so ... no she's not cheatingon Crandol) "My love?" She said softly as she looked up at him, "They are saying that we will be moving on shortly." Crandol nodded and released his hold from aroung her waist.

Gernhart returned a few moments later dressed in a deep blue. Constince smiled in approval of his choice, then turned at the sound of hoof beats and saw Shadow Stalker canter into the cave.

"Are we ready to move out?" Alendariel inquired of Constince.

Constince turned and smiled, "I believe everything is in order Lady Alendariel." She settled her heavy silver embroidered cloak around her shoulders. "We should be able to go whenever you give the signal that we may do so." She checked over Shadow Stalker to make sure the black stallion had not been harmed on his way here. There is a stone in my left back hoof ... if you could kindly remove it I would be most grateful as it is rather anoying Shadow thought as he picked up his back foot. Constince couldn't help but smile at her friend as she responded Well I supose I shall have to if I don't want to be leading a lame horse through an orck infested forest.

Gernhart retreved his horse and mounted, then watched as Constince removed the stone from her mounts Hind foot. Raelyn had already found her horse as well and was waiting beside Crandol.

Rain waited at the mouth of the cave on Orlinos. She watched as the rain stopped, and the black clouds became grey, but didn't go away.
"We should be leaving soon... don't now sound good? We still have yet to make it out of the forest. We must yet cross the mountains, and the plains of Rohan..."

(we are going to Mordor, right?)

Rain smiled, and Orlinos exited the cave, walking for a bit, then leaping into the air. He hovered for a second, then started going east, staying at a pace were the horses could keep up. Rain leaned forward on his green, scaly neck, enjoying the smell of the earth after the rain, and the beats of the dragon's bat-like wings.
No one said you can't enjoy life durring a life-threatening mission she thought to herself.
But it is said you shouldn't loose yourself to it came Orlinos's deep grumble in her head. Now ahead of them was the Misty Mountains, they where in the shadow of the mountain...

Constince, Gernhart, Raelyn and Crandol fell into line in their proper places. The followed the bright green dragon in the sky. soon they werein the shadow of the mountan. The wind picked up sugesting that a storm, other than the cloud headed toward the very place there were trying to protect, was about to batter the travlers headed toward the mountain pass.

Crandol saw Raelyn's ovious worry. he reached out and grasped her hand. " do not fret my love, all will be well."
Raelyn smiled softly at him and sqweezed his hand lightly.
Gernhart looked back at the two.
they quickly released hands and looked away from each other acting as so they were doing nothing.
Gernhart chuckled to himself. maybe crandol wasn't as bad as he perseeved him to be.

Constince looked over at Gernhart, "Something wrong?" She asked a slight frown creasing her brow. She looked back at the two younger elves, smiled then looked back at Gernhart. "Nevermind I think I know." She smiled and turned her attention back to the path ahead of them.

"I can already feel the evil of Mordor upon us." Legolas said to Sarien.

"It will be alright, I know that Rain will lead us strongly." She replied.

*Legolas looked to the sky as he took Sarien's hand in his own. He smiled and watched her lovingly.*

Rain had gone ahead, and flown around the mountain, before heading back. The group was already out of the Rivendell forest, which mainly occupied the Western side of Rohan. Orlinos landed a few yards infront of the group, and Rain dismounted.
"We're going to have to make for the gap of Rohan. The pass of Caradhras is too dangerous and unpassable due to a mountain slide. We're going to have to make for the gap of Rohan. I was hoping we wouldn't have to travel that far and add a week to our journey. At a good pace with good weather, it would take three months at least to reach Mordor. So you better hope we have luck on our side." Rain said solemly, scratching the back of her neck.
"And I had been hoping we could get more supplies from Lothlorien. I'll have to fly back to Imladris on Orlinos to get more supplies while you all head south. Me and Orlinos will be there and back by tomorrow if we leave now." she said, raising her hand against the setting sun...
