well, it's back and it was good!

martha turned out to be alright - i didn't think she was as good as rose, but she wasn't as bad as i feared either.

there were also some more quality lines - the best was this after martha learned about the sonic screwdriver:
martha - so what else do you have? a laser spanner?
doctor - well i did, but emmeline pankhurst stole it


EDIT: and yes, phoenix, he is gay - he's married to (or rather, has a civil partnership with) a guy called scott gill

Eek!!! I loved it! And Martha rules, she's no where near as irritating and stupid as Rose. That was such a brilliant episode, even if old lady with the bendy straw was a bit... odd.

One of my fave lines was the one Martha said about "Planet Zovirax" I giggled for at least 5 minutes.

I loved it when he was mouthing the "it's bigger on the inside" comment, and the one with the shoes... the Doctor is just soo marvellous...

Everyone who I've been talking to seems to like her, which is different from the threats to kill the Rose replacement there was after she was announced.

So...I did indeed find the episode on TV-Links. I don't know how I can thank oh wise Phoenix for that link. *cough-DS9-cough-Enterprise-cough* XD
I was all depressed that I'd have to wait...and dodge this club...until summer. But alas...so far, I don't have to. XD
I really enjoyed the episode! And I really liked Martha! I honestly didn't know how I'd react to her. But I thought she was cool. Definatley some funny lines. The shoe bit was hysterical. Sad that he threw away the red shoes. And the whole...blood/straw thingy.

i just saw david tennant on graham norton's show and apparantly him and john barrowman would have farting competitions on set to relax before filming and wind freema up. he also got to meet the proclaimers at the end and he was so happy he couldn't stop grinning - it was so cute.

As much as I want to...another part of me wants to wait until it actually comes to America so I can watch it on tv. There's somthing wonderful about sitting on the couch late at night, curling up with a nice snack and watching Doctor Who. Plus the tv is so much bigger than the computer. I can see DT aka the Doctor in respledent plasma wonder!

Yeah, I'm a bit impatient too. I can't wait that long. I mean, I watched Torchwood on a little screen.. Don't think anyone here in the States will air Torchwood. *sigh* How sad, eh?
But I DO like watching it on a proper T.V. screen. So, when SciFi had a little marathon the Friday before the 3rd series aired, I FREAKED out. XD And it was like 9 in the morning at my grandma's and I was watching the Doctor.
Awww...I love my cartoon banner thing too! I just LOVE the Doctor/Torchwood cartoony things!
And I have to say, YOUR avvie is just... ACK! Makes me giggle and smile and squee and have a fangirl fit every time I see it! I can't take my eyes off of him! XD
