Catherine De Changy stood outside her theater/opera house. Her brother in-law was going to stay for a while. That is what he had said, she had recived word the day before that they would still be coming, but His wife was performing first. James, her husband, came over too her. "Your too impatiant sometimes love." She sighed. "I know." Just then a carrige pulled up.

Christine and Raoul sat in their room in the back of the Opera House when they heard someone approaching. They stood up and walked to the door before anyone even knocked. When the door was opened they found. Andre and Firmin standing at the door. "The next show will be starting in four hours Christine you need to be getting ready."
"Yes, I will be there in a moment." She walked to her dresser and got a necklace given to her by Raoul and put it on. "I am ready." she said as she kissed Raoul and walked to get dressed for the show.

After the carrige ride, both Catherine and James got out and went up the steps to the theater that Christine De Changy was perfroming in. As they entered she saw her husbands brother, Raoul. She had last seen him 5 years before at her wedding. "Raoul!" James greeted his younger brother.

((I think that, according to the movie, Christine is now 19, and Raoul must be between 19 and 22 or something. Because in the movie, during Hannibal she was 16 years old.))

Raoul heard someone calling and turned around to see his older brother,James. "James!" he yelled to his brother. "How's life been?" he asked.





Christine got ready for her part in Il Muto. She got dressed for the role of Countess in her dress and wig. The production was in two hours.

Camille stood outside the opera house, watching all the refined and well-to-do patrons arrive. Beside them, she looked a sight. Her light brown hair was a tangled mess around her face and shoulders. Her clothes were thread bare and splattered with mud. Years on the streets had not been good to her, but due to a low birth and other unfortunate circumstances, she didn't have many options. It was either beg on the streets or become and courtesan, and she was not going to become a courtesan.

She tore her dark green eyes away from the fancy clothes and belongings of the people going into the opera house and stuck out the cup she held in her hand. "Give a girl a break," she pleaded as she shook the cup. A mere few coins rattled in it. "Money for the poor."

James smiled. "It has been good. You remember Catherine, Right, my wife." Catherine nodded her head. "It is good to see you Raoul." She said being polite, normally she was more right out there, and busniess like, but here she had to behave like a noble's wife.

(Oops, I've already forgot about the dear old Phantom. FYI, I will be referring to him as Eric, which if either of you has not read the book that is his real name)

Eric, otherwise known as The Phantom of the Opera House, stood down in his labyrinth, looking up. He could already hear the sounds of the guests arriving to watch Il Muto. At other times, he would have been content to remain down below, hearing the sounds from there. But who knew who would be back tonight. Christine. He wouldn't miss that performance for anything.

He prepared to go to his box.

Raoul gave a slight bow to Catherine and said "very nice to meet you,Catherine. Come we must get good seats at the show." he said as he began to walk to the entrance to the Opera House

"Of course." Catherine said, as they walked, Catherine was amazed by the theater. "A bit more Grand then yours dear." James whipsered. "Not a bit. Much more Grand." She whispered back, the reason, Neither Raoul or his wife Christine knew about Catherines Theater.

Raoul walked towards the entrance but suddenly noticed a homeless woman sitting on the stairs.
He gave her 15 francs and smiled

"What's your name?" he asked looking down at the woman.




Christine stretched getting ready for the part. She sang her chords and sang over her part.

Catherine also gave the woman a few Frances and nugged James so he would do the same. James not wanting his wife mad, did so as well.

Camille smiled down at the generous donation in her cup. 15 Francs. It was a very nice addition to the small collection she was gaining. She pushed some of her tangled locks away from her face, not for the first time that day becoming somewhat embarrassed by her unkempt appearance.

"My name is Camille Marceau, good sir," she replied, doing her best to manage a curtsey, but since she had not had the years of refined upbringing that many young Parisian girls had, it came out very clumsy and befuddled. "Thank you for your kindness. And might I ask your name?"

She then turned as a young couple also gave her some money. Camille couldn't keep the large grin from her face. She was getting very lucky today. "Thank you, Madame. Thank you, Monsieur."

'I am Raoul.' He answered. 'Would you honor us by joining us to my wife's performance of Il Muto?' he asked smiling at her then glancing up to see what his brother's reaction would be.

Camille gaped at the man. She would love to go see the show. She had never had the opurtunity to go to the opera, but it had always been something that she wanted to do. A bright smile spread over her face.

"Why thank you, Monsieur!" she exclaimed with a gleeful laugh. Then her happy expression faltered. She looked down at herself, at her dirty clothes and messy hair. "But, I am not dressed properly," she told him sadly, "I don't know if it would be appropriate...."
