((I'll keep with the open field just North-west of Weathertop! Sorry, I happened to have been reading the part of LotR FotR when Strider takes the hobbits to that part... of course in that area there's also Midgewater March maybe only a few miles west... lol! But let's keep to the plains, easier to fight in *wink*))
Lughir put away his bow, and dismounted his black mare.
"Lughir of the Dunadain. I just happened to be just north of Weathertop and noticed the orcs... you could say they were headed for me..."
(also, the rangers would know each other because their off the same race... just thought you should know... *whistles* sorry, I'm a little picky at LotR stuff sometimes...)

Cyril glanced over at the hobits, then back at Arey. He seemed to detect some sort of hesitation perhaps.
"Silence is a virtue." he said silently in his mind.
That was something he had learned long ago. He was sure neither of the other Rangers knew him however, since he had lived a very secluded life in the forests and woods. This, however, pleased him.

"Ruth Ann Underhill," Ruth said while motioning for Merry and Pippin to remain silent, "I needed an excuse to leave the Shrie, and this appeared to be an excellent oppurtunity."
Looking back and Merry and Pippin Ruth Ann then wondered why they had come along. Merry noticed this and blurted out an introduction for both Pippin and himself, "I am Merry and these are my friends Pippin and Ruth.... Ann... Pip and I decided to jion Ruth when we were walking out of the Shire to get another taste of the foreign world again."

Cyril mused that the two hobits happened to be Merry and pippin. It was also an interesting fact that Aaliyah had been in Rohan.
He didn't remember any of them being there. But he didn't ahve to worry to much about it there was no way they would recognize him.
"A pleasure to meet you all." Cyril nodded towards the hobits.
