Our chancellor was attending to other matters." She looked at her cousin. "What happened? At the temple? Is anakin alright? He hasn't come back yet? What about obi-wan?"

The Chancellor then began to speak, lying about a plot by the Jedi to "overthrow the Republic," the attack on him by Mace Windu, the fact that Jedi were now enemies of the Republic, and that the Republic was now "the first Galactic Empire." The crowd cheered. (Padme, if you'll say your line, please? =])
