Welcome to a party of many reasons. One of which being to celebate my 1 year wedding anniversary (rather belatedly), another is to (belatedly again) be glad that the NC reached 1000 pages full of random NC evilness. And the last official reason is to cheer my dear WTers up, because there seems to be a lot of stress going around in there at the moment. So big big hugs to all of you and let’s hope a party with your friends will make you happy again. Feel free to add reasons to why this party has been put on.

There is one rule for this party, actually, two rules.

- Be FWEE!!
- Be nice.

Two very important things.

Now, let’s see about the setting of such a party…

In a glade in a hidden wood a party is going on. A party of strange sorts, held for a multitude of reasons, some even unknown to the host. There are ribbons in the forever-blossoming trees, bells and wind chimes too. Hundreds of fairy lanterns lit with tiny candles illuminate the partygoers below. There are elaborately decorated tables with every type of delicious food known to anyone alive, sweets and savouries, side dishes and soufflés. A band plays an unusual music, alive and ever changing, something for every taste. And the dance floor, laid out for all to use, big enough for everyone, is never empty. Chairs and benches are dotted around for weary feet and the crystal clear pond is a haven for all the little children. Oh yes, the children are invited too, who could not invite the innocent creatures? In this glade races, personalities and interests unite to produce an event of great delight, the atmosphere is alive and carefree and even the punch is un-poisoned this time around. Guests are constantly arriving, I wonder who will turn up next…why not come in and see?

So I declare this party, officially open!

Este noticed her old friend sneak in and sit to the side, taking a position not particularly near anyone else. She went over with a smile, "Good to see you here Jax, would you like something to drink, there's plenty of choice." She gestured towards the long tables.

Este settled Jax down with a drink and looked around the glade, more people had arrived and she spotted Nightingale by the tables and Elegost sat contentedly with his feet upon one of the smaller tables and a drink in his hand. She smiled to herself and wandered over to get a drink of her own, it was a warm day with only a faint breeze. She found a fruit juice of some description and sipped it greatfully.

*walks in*

Rose entered the glade. She was surprised by the beautiful location and the wonderful decoration. She felt immediately better taking a short break from learning and was much happier at once.
Rose spotted a group of guests and walked towards them. "Hey guys!", she said happily and gave hugs to everyone.
Then she turned to Este. "Thanks so much for the invitation, great auntie! It is such a great idea to have a party now. And you've done a really great job here!"
Finally she handed Este a little packet containing her favourite cookies. "Here, a small gift for the wonderful host...", Rose added smilingly before she joined the general conversation...

Dark walks to the glade, being careful not to make too much noise. Dark glances at the people already here, and sits on the soft grass, and leans against and ancient oak tree. She watches everyone, smiling slightly.

Shadowcat walked over to the others, taking care to walk through the trees and not around them. "Hi everyone!" she called and waved cheerily.

Este smiled at the newly arrived guests, dishing out hugs to them all accepting Rose's cookies with thanks. "Thank you all for coming, it's wonderful to have you here." She saw Darky walk stealthily in and take seat on the grass, away from the others and quiet, as was custom at such events.

Dark waves back at Elven Archer, her face breaking into a huge grin.

"Do i smell cookies?" She gets to her feet and races over to Fuzzeh Voice, and skids to a stop. Dark smiles sweetly, putting on her "give me a cookie please cause i'm cute" face.

"Hee..."

Gwenneth waltzed in to the party, feeling very alive and humming a little tune to herself. A good number of people had turned up so far, and the atmosphere was very inviting and lively.
She walked over to the table where Elegost was lounging.
"Feet off the table, please, sir," Gwenneth said, jokingly before sitting down opposite him. Then she grinned. "Good to see you here."

Este laughed, "Is that a cookie-look I see, Darky my dear?" Darky smiled innocently, or as innocently as she could, and nodded slightly. Este laughed again and handed out the never-ending bag of cookies. "Wow, what a clever bag of cookies, Rose. How ingenious."
She looked over and saw Gwen arrive and jokily tell her husband to take his feet off the table. No sign of Anduril yet, she noted to herself.
"Who's for champagne?!" She asked, grinning at her friends. "The non-alcoholic type, of course."

"I just might be tempted, Este," said Gwen, reaching for a glass. "Ahh, summer is definitely in the air. As soon as everyone is poured some, we should toast to something..."
