What would I change... not very much I think. Some things are a bit strange at do not match with the books but most of the time I can understand why it is this way.

Personally, I think that in the RotK, they should have lengthened the part with Famarir and Eowyn. In the books, they had several pages. In the movie, I heard many complaints on how they had so little time on screen and were basically neglected.

At the moment, I can't think of much improvement for FotR or TTT. I didn't watch much of TTT anyway.

I am so confused about something in TTT- the Elves go to be keep and some of them DO survive, but you don't see them beyond the death of Haldir!!! There should have been something at the end of the battle, maybe Theoden thanking them, saying they will be honoured etc... *ponders*

The only thing I was disapointed about was they didn't show the ending of most of the charactors. I mean, Merry, Pippin, Eomer, Gimli, Legolas...they just seemed to vanish into the sunset !!!

But I would also have liked to see Scouring of the Shire, Tom Bombadil and Glorfindel *shakes fist at Arwen*

In FotR, I would add the scene before Frodo sets out. The scene with Frodo, Sam, Merry, Pippin, and Fatty...the baths and eating and talking about how they knew that Frodo was leaving. That whole scene should have been in the movie. That is what I think.
In TTT, where Legolas is singing. That and if we could take away I might not have Haldir die...couldn't he just have been injured? However that is subtracting not adding. (laughs) Sorry.
Then in RotK, I would want to see what happened to the rest of the characters more in depp that is. I would want to see a shot of like all of the Fellowship members with their spouse and what not. For example a quick shot of Merry and Estella, Pippin and Diamond and their chilldren, Legolas and Gimli aboard one of the ships going to the grey Havens, Eowyn and Faramir with Pippin, and Aragorn and Arwen with their chilldren...maybe even a shot of Goldilocks and Faramir playing. They did pretty well with the end of Sam Rosie and their kids, and Bilbo, Frodo, Galadriel, Elrdond, and Gandalf's ends. However I really would have liked it if when I had watched the movies if I had have been able to know what had happened to the rest of the characters (without having to read online before what became of the other characters). It just kind of left some of the others hanging.

ROTK: More Éowyn/Faramir! Like, maybe the whole "The Steward and the King" chapter, perhaps? And Aragorn and Arwen's wedding too!
