Thank you Rain.I would say within a day or so, if your horse can keep up with Ravenmane. We will scout ahead for about 20-30 miles if possible. Word will be around and hopefully we can get a direction, maybe even a destination he was headed to.

Tur turned to her fellow knights and said, "Be careful, both of you." Then, she turned to the trees and whistled a low, short tune.

Then, coming out of the trees was a golden hawk with tinted silver wings. He landed on Turwaithiel's outstretched arm and she stroked his feathers. Then, she whispered something in his ear and he ruffled his feathers and took flight, but only flew over to Eruraina and landed on her shoulder, then rubbed his beak and head under her chin.

Tur smiled. But then, she turned serious and said, "Rain, I don't want to seem overprotective or that I don't trust either of you, because I trust both of you with my life, but if you need more knights or are in a jam, send my hawk Isihsong back to me and help will come."

" There is adventure round every corner my drfend. You need not look for it !!" Marius shouted as he mounted Ravenmane, his spear glinting like it were made of ice, cold and surgically precise and very deadly.
"Ready Rain? Then we ride" He touced his steed in the flansk gently with his boots and Ravenmane started to gallop along the road."

Marius and Rain made swift time on their fine steeds, covering miles in what seemed like no time at all. They see a tavern, and seeing the light start to fade, got stabling and accomodation.
" Well, at least we have a prime source of info. The innkeepers around here know more than the best spymasters. I will get us some food and drink, and hopefully some information. Just blend in if you want to." He went to the bar and got two foaming tankards of ale, chicken, cheese and bread and put it down on the table.He started to eat and drink whilst taking in the environment, all the while never letting his hand stray from his knife handle.

Rain sat at the same table as Marius. She started sipping her ale. With a weary eye, she watched the other patrons. A few were drunk and would be easily pursuaded to talk, she thought. And with a smile she put her tankered down and walked over to two patrons in the corner...
