( Sen you are obsessed with apple cider...I guess if Middle Earth had Root Beer that would be my drink of choice)
Soon The Room began to fill up with Elves the colors were strange to her they were very bright and cheery she was fasinated by the splendor. Deawen smiled up at Sen " you look..good" she stammered slightly. " It seems your cousin underestimates you.. " Deawen laughed and whispered to Morwen " before the end of this I'll need a stronger drink than the one you have" she was blushing slightly she had no words to say suddenly.

ok training oui)
Drad nodded and led Prygrus to the ring where the others had gathered.
Drad in hand had a whip he flicked his wrist and loud crack sounded the men fell silent. " Listen Up and Listen Well! You boys will be training today and provided That lady Deawen does not return Tommorow. Those of you that do not wish to train and got caught up in the moment of the phantoms leave now we have no wish for tag-alongs!" a brief silence followed no one moved. " You will have Five courses to learn you don't have to master them right away so don't worry these courses are taught so you don't die in battle with disgrace. You will master these skills in time..if you live that long.. " some of the preexisting phantoms had turned up to help the tag alongs they grinned and laughed at the new stock. " Boys turn to your neighbor and be warned if you do not take theses skills to heart one of you will die in battle..." Drad let the thought seep in " Now split up!" a mass scramble took place no one knew what was first so no one had the chance to question the easier course. " those on the left stay with me those on the right go with Eston"

(OOC: BTW, I'm not an alcoholic. This is just a plot scheme that Deawen and I made up over the phone...)
"Oh, I'm sure I can help with that." Morwen drained her cup. "I'm off to find me something to bring back my wits and you to take away your knack for overthinking things." She walked to an elf bearing a tray and inquired about the beverage. "This is a tea I make that is made of the bark of several trees," he said with proud smile. Morwen took some of that and found some of what she had been drinking earlier. She returned to Deawen and handed the silver cup to her with a gaudy flourish. "Madame," she said as Deawen took the cup. Morwen sat down and sipped the tea. It was extremely bitter and sweet at once, making for a very interesting taste.

(rofl *snickers* )
" Oh I have a bad feeling about this drink...I fear i Might feel this one in the morning.." Deawen grumbled she took a small sip it was sweet like a peach it even smelt good. If Deawen had ever had fruit juice she could have sworn it was fruit juices. Deawen felt suddenly relaxed and carefree. she took a second sip " I like this drink" Deawen commented.
Deawen sat watching the elves pass to and fro taking small sips of her drink.

Morwen sipped her tea, "Yes, there is a reason I drank two cups before you arrived." The fuzz in her head was slowling clearing. "Well, enough of this stuff, and now for more wine!"

Deawen had to put the drink down she could feel her senses clouding she was afriad she might relax to much to release her control on her fire she had never done it but she was sure it could happen. Deawen looked up at Sen " how do you fit in with the elves so well?" Deawen asked

(OOC: Aaahhh! I've been away too long! It sucks being busy...)
(Sen at the banquet)
*Sen turned to Deawen, away from all the festivities, and smiled.*
As do you, Lady Deawen. There are few here that could match. As for why I fit in with the elves so well; my mother was an elf, and my father, well, he was not. On the dark day when my city fell, Gandalf whisked me away, and kept me safe with the elves in Mirkwood. I was still a child then. I traveled around a lot, and the Storm found me here. We traveled back north, to see what was left of my birthplace, and that is when I met him...
*Sen guessed that Deawen knew who he meant by that. His face grew clouded for a second, but then music picked up, and he smiled again.*
So I have spent a lot of time with the elves, and even met a few dwarves in my travels. Enough of the talk of the past, however. What say you go have fun; dance with the others. That should put another beautiful smile on your face.
*Sen suddenly stopped, realizing what he was saying, and rubbed the back of his head in slight embarassment.*
(Raelun at the training grounds)
*Raelun had followed Drad and Eston to the training grounds, where the tag-alongs had gathered. He looked over them, with a slight smile on his face. It had been many years since he had been in training. Many, many years. He walked over behind Drad, and spoke to him.*
Why don't you give me a couple of them? I'm sure I could whip a couple into relative fighting shape.

Drad Looked at Sen For a moment " after they have their Horses issued to them " Drad smiled " I have the perfect two " Drad said thoughtfuly.
"Welps listen here, those of you that stayed here with me get the honor and I mean honor to care for Middle-earths finest horses today you will learn how to use your horse in battle. " the tag alongs began to drift towards him " YOur horse is like our own life defend your horse and in return your horse with protect you. Your horse is your friend and companion I have here horses for you to chose from. But remember there is not trading your horse in."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Deawen laughed at Sen's embarrassmet, " Alright I will have fun, but you have to come with me" Deawen said standing up.
(sorry for the oneliner i just ran into a dead end)
*Sen shrugged, and stood, his ears catching the tune of the music.*
I guess I could dance for a while. My muscles have gotten used to a dance of a very different kind, and it is good for a change of pace.
*Sen held out a hand, and then said.*
Shall we?
(Raelun, at the training grounds)
*Raelun laughed at Drad's side comment to him. If he already knew which two to send to him, they will be fun indeed. He listened to Drad's speach about horses; he prefered his own two feet on the ground, but did not dislike horses and riding, when he had a chance.*
Morwen smiled as Sen whisked Deawen away. She decided to talk to the elf who was trying so cleverly to conceal himself. "Hello there!" she said, coming up behind him. He sputtered, almost dropping his cup. Even for a clumsy elf, he had a considerable amount of grace. "I...I...Well, you are of the race of men, are you not? From Rohan?" Morwen nodded encouragingly. He took note of this and grew in confidence. "Well, I am a student of foreign cultures. I have met men from Numenor, Gondor, the North, the South, Harad, Umbar, and even the Lands Beyond, but I have not met a man of Rohan. I feel this is my opportunity to meet several. It is unusual to meet them. They want nothing to do with the elves or anything elven."
pygrus chose a horse that was brown and was the right size for pygrus. though the horse seemed alittle lazy it was perfect for pygrus. Then pygrus was ready for the first part of training. (Do I need to name it?)
even though the drink had made her forget she was among those who hated and feared her the suffocating presence always remained. the elves hated her for what she was not who she was she would find it much more bearable is was shunned for actions of her own and not those of family. Deawen concealed her thoughts deep in her mind where not even Galadriel dared to prob. Deawen wanted to be carefree for atleast one night and she was going to.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ after horses were issued Drad pointed to Pygrus and another fellow ' You two go with him" Drad commanded pointing to Raelun.
the second fellow glared at him and Drad returned the hostility. Drad turned to Raelun " watch the second one there he's quick and troublesome. Defiant to authority no one knows why he is here but by Phantom rule no one can be exiled without a true cause. his is minior."

"No, they haven't, have they?" Morwen said, sipping her tea. "Well, what do you wish to know?" The elf smiled and took her gently by the elbow and led her to a bench near the trunk of the tree. "Well, for one, tell me why a woman is allowed to serve as a captain in the cavalry. It is very unusual." Morwen began to speak: "Well, my mother, my grandmother, my ancestors learned that just because you do not wield a weapon does not mean you are exempt from the Enemy's down-swing. I am part of the tradition of the Shield Maiden. A tradition that is now dying..." she trailed off and hid her face in her cup. The elf seemed to pull a palette out of nowhere and began taking notes. "Oh, yes the formalities," he said abruptly, causing Morwen to jump. "My name is Parmatûr. I have devoted my life to recording the traditions and histories of the cultures of Middle Earth so they can be preserved in the West." Morwen didn't really understand the last thing she said but introduced herself formally: "I am Morwen of the Westfold. Well, my full title is Morwen, Captain of the Westfold, Handmaiden to her highness, the Lady Eowyn, Emissary to Gondor, Enforcer of Rohan, and therefore a Royal Bodyguard of the King." Parmatur's pen moved quickly. He chuckled, "Quite a mouthfull." Morwen chuckled in agreement, and reached for another cup of wine. "What else do you wish to know?" As they both consumed more wine, the conversation became more interesting.
