Bret sighed. He'd been up half the night thinking about what he would say to Trudy- he never had figured it out. <i>Just get it over with.</i> he told himself.
"I don't feel good about you dating Brendon." he told Trudy. "Maybe I'm just paranoid, but- I don't know. He paced around the small room- 8 steps one direction, 8 steps back. He stopped and sat down on his bed. "Why are you dating him anyway?"
<i>Stupid!</i> he told himself. Why didn't he phrase that differently?

Kira became irritated when Shonnelon came in with a gun. However, she quickly calmed herself down and replied over to Shonnelon, "It's ok. You don't need to have a gun."

Kira now moved back from being calm to being aggravated. "Why should I worry about being shot?" she barked, "When I am thirty I am just going to die anyway, unless we can figure out what is going on."

Turning to the man, Kira continued, "That is why we are here. We want to help, but, if you don't need it. Fine, let us be. We'll leave and not come back."

" i figured you didn't like the idea of us dating...and i don't know, i've known brendon for a long time and i've liked him for a long time, i was just waiting for him to ask me out. then when he did i was quick to say yes. i don't think i made a mistake or anything. hes not that bad, he's sweet and kind and gentel." she smiled thinking of him. then she looked over to Bret. " Bret i respect you so much, and i know your just trying to help. and look i'll take your advice if i think it should be used at the time. but right now, Brendon is amazing and wonderful and it's all great. " she paused and looked straight into his eyes. " please don't worry. you know i look up to you. i know you worry about me as well..but really please don't worry. i'll be fine..." she said wile walking over and giving him a sisterly hug.

Bret returned the hug. In spite of Trudy's words, he was still worried. He smiled though, and said, "Just be careful. If Brendon does anything that bothers you, let me know right away, please."

Trudy let go of him and sighed and just nodded. she didn't understand why he didn't like him...maybe she should be worried about it...maybe not..she pushed that though aside. " so you wanna get some brekfast now?" she smiled.

A pained look flashed in Shonnalen's eyes and she lowered her wepon and turned to leave, "It seems I was over hasty in my decision to come look for you. I'll go." She pressed the heal of her hand to her timple as a sudden headache started."

Kira jumped back inside and realized that she went a little beyond her limits. Whispering, Kira spoke to Shonnalen, "I'm sorry.. just got a little over emotional there. I don't want you to leave."

Jack glared at the new threat before dropping it slightly and saying, "Fine. Move everyone that you know and care for here. It's a lot secure here than in the mall or wherever you live. There's electronic locks all over the place. I'll need someone watching the cameras and a small party for scavenging. That food there is enough to last me two months but I don't know about now. And then there's the energy packs but we'll only use those as a last resort." He turned to the new threat and said, "Killing me won't do you any good. You're not a registered employee of the hospital and I am. I have access to all of the locks and rooms. Rooms that you'll need."
