Marius smiled at his companions guile.He looked around the bar but noticed a man in a cloak staring through a window, The man saw the face of Marius turn to him, piercing his hooded disguise, and fled. Marius jumped up and sprinted out of the tavern. After a short chase the man was caught by the fearsome Interrogator chaplain. "I aint done nothing, I swear mate , I aint done nothing...." the man stammered as marius had him up against the wall "You spy on me? I know who you are" He rolled up the sleeve of the spy and revealed a tattoo, red in the shape of an eagle. " You work for Blood Eagle. Tell me, where can I find your master? I have some business with him"
"I cant say, hed kill me..." The man protested but Marius drew his warknife and said " And you think I won't if I dont get any information?"
"ok ok. He is at the castle of Lord Endraith. He was seen talking to some geezer in black steel armour or summat"
Marius' eyes shone with a renewed passion and pressed the issuse saying " What did they speak of? Tell me or I will make you suffer!!!" the man started to cry and said " I dont know, I dont know mate I swear on my wife and kids" Marius saw he spoke the truth and released him. He drew a few gold coins out and pressed them into the mans hand. " Be off man. I dont want to see you again" The man took off like the winds and Marius went back to the tavern to his seat. The few glances were short lived and everyone else went back to their beer.He waited for Rain to finish her inquiries. In the meantime, he began to drink and eat slowly...

Rain had undone her braid, making her long wavey hair drape around her metal-clad shoulders. She sat down on a stool, and leaned over the table.
"'ello gents."
"'ello to you, pretty lady," one said, while the other finnished gulping down his cup of beer before ordering another one.
"What'd yo want?" the second asked, leaning back on his chair.
Rain shrugged, and gave a charming smile.
"I was just in town and had heard romurs about a Black Knight..."
"Ah! The Black Knight! A mean man that is! He's the one who orders the most weapons from my forge... must be brewin' an army or sometin'..." the second one slurred.
"Where be all this stuff be sent to?" Rain asked playfully.
"Gimme a kiss and I'll tell you," he grinned menicingly. In reply Eruraina flipped out her knife, and stuck it in between is fingers on the table.
"How 'bout you tell me, or you loose a few fingers?" she raised a thin eyebrow.
The patron looked from side-to-side, then at his companion, who just shrugged.
"Yeah know what, I like a frisky lass," the he leaned over and whispered in her ear, "They're always sent east, past were all them mapst show, or sose said the deliverers from 'im."

With that, Rain smiled, grabbed her knife and stood.
"I thank ye' jents..." and then walked back over to where Marius sat slowly eating and drinking.
"I've learned in the general direction we should be headed," she said as she sat, and quickly started braiding her hair into a single braid again...

" I managed to find out a man who was in contact with him. Luthor Blood Eagle was seen with him, 5 miles east of here. I'd recommend we visit him at lord Endraiths Castle. He could provide a valuable clue for us.I have business with him I could settle up as well.Do you agree?"
He turned to Rain and smiled " I must say, you have the nerve and guile of any Order knight I know of."
He returned to his beer and plate of food.

"I've found out the the black smith made weapons for him. And that the Black Knight must be making a large army. And all the weapons go east... so I guess we go east," Rain replied, leaning back.
"Hm... Luthor Blood Eagle you say? I've done a few errands for him, though none I'm really fond of..." she started sipping her ale again.
"And I'll take that last part as a compliment." she smiled back...

" Ok. we set off in the morning. and by the way Rain"he added, looking at Rain " He will be dead by tommorow nightfall. I do not wear this bracelet for nothing" He gestured at the silver bracelet he wore with the black pearl on it,, " sleep well" and with that he went to his room silently.

Rain raised an eyebrow as she watched the Interegator champlain went to his room. Eruraina stayed up a little later, finnishing off her ale. Soon there were only a few patrons left in the room, and so the knight went to her room.

As she toor off her boots, and metal armor, a head ache started forming in her forehead. With a groan, she layed down on her bed, which wasn't as cofortable as the one at her father's estate. With a sigh she rolled over and fell asleep...

The chaplain was kneeling on the hard wooden floor of his room. He was chanting a litany of calm in a quiet voice. Since he had joined the Order many years ago, the changes wrought upon him by their magic, greater speed, resilience, strength and reactions had become steadily more normal. He had fought in battles with hundreds of foes and emerged victorious, paying only his skin, which looked like it was painted with scar tissue. His duty was to hunt the Fallen, and he must not fail. although sleep was not a necessity, he felt some time to think would be good. He cast himself onto his bed fully armoured and began to sleep dreamlessly....

The next morning came by quickly and when Turwaithiel awoke and was ready, she saw her steed Shadow back where he had stood yesterday. She walked down to him and smiled at him, stroking his mane.

"Are you ready, Shadow, my friend?" She asked, whispering in his ear. Shadow whinned and nodded his head. Turwaithiel smiled and awaited the other knights to arrive.

"I hope they didn't forget we need to leave this morn." She said.

Marius woke up a bit bleary eyed. His head felt a bit heavy, and when he arose he saw another armoured figure above him. Marius suddenly jumped up and had his hand on his knife when he saw a winged sword on the mans Breastplate. He withdrew his hand from his blade and they nodded at each other. The stranger spoke in a gravelly voice and said " Hail Brother. I am Knight Morkai." Marius said " well met brother. Why are you not on a search for the Fallen in the North?"
" I was sent by Master Arcadius. You have been asked to find the Blood Eagle?" Marius nodded silently and the Morkai continued " Master Arcadius sent word to you , but it seems the messenger has not arrived.It appears in the old days, Blood Eagle was a Order sorcerer,now a champion of the Dark Powers of this world. The Master sent me to assist you, as I am a mage of good power as well." Marius raised an eyebrow for a second and said " Very well brother. But I ask i we can wait for My Companion Rain first. She is a strong warrior, and intelligent. No Berserker, but a canny knight indeed. She still sleeps, so catch some rest while you can" He gestured to the bed and the other knight laid himself down, and seemed to sleep, but with hand around his longsword, as if ready to strike. Marius arose and sat in the wooden chair, leaning his back against the wall.
