I am currently reading "The Two Towers" but when I finish the LOTR I will start "The Dark Tower Series".
Have you seen "Creepshow"?

I got a wee bit of money for my birthday just a couple of days ago so I'm thinking of getting the first book in the Dark Tower series just to check it out! I really want a copy of IT as well, I've only read the library's copy

We should have a horror tough guy ultimate fighting championship. Like Jason VS Freddy Krueger or Mike Meyers vs Leather Face!! What do you think?

Haha yeah definitely. Since we've already seen Freddy VS Jason on film I'd definitely love to see a Mike Meyers VS Leatherface fight on film. Or Pinhead VS Jigsaw - now that would be an interesting one!

Eru you have just advanced to the level of "Apprentice". The next level of advancement is "Hunter". The higher in rank you acquire the harder it is to advance in levels.

Ok lets start with Mike Meyers VS Jason!
This one is close!! Both killers carry knives and both are as tough as nails. I mean you can shoot, burn and stab them over and over and they just don't die! This I think comes down to their physical attributes and thier personal equipment. Lets study them in detail.
Jason:Physically is very tough being immune to most physical harm. Lives in the swamp and can hold his breath for a long time, so cant be choked. Carries a "Big" knife.
Mike Meyers:Very tough too! But he has the mental edge being a pshcho. Plus he wears a hockey mask which protects his face(very important). He also carries a "Big" knife. Very strong phisically.
I think this one goes to Michael Meyers!! What do you think?

OK here is my list of possible Horror Tough Guys. Probably should have done this before the Jason VS Mike Meyers bout but oh well.
1)Leather Face
2)Michael Meyers
3)Freddy Krueger
4)Jason
5)Jigsaw
6)Pinhead
7)Damien
8)Chucky
9)Hannibal Lechter
10)Evil Gauge
11)Jack Torrance
12)Pennywise
13)Norman Bates
If I am forgetting someone let me know and we will add them to the list.
Erik

Whoohoooo I'm an apprentice Nice one!
Actually Jason wears the hockey mask, not Michael Meyers. Michael is very strong but Jason is already dead so technically, he can't die. I think the fight would be a very close call but ultimately I think Jason would take out Meyers.
We can always go Stephen King and add Pennywise and Jack Torrance to the list!

Yes I agree. Jason is the winner of that one. I have added Jack Torrance, Pennywise and Norman Bates to the list. Is Pennywise the Clown from It?
OK the next bout should be Leather Face VS Freddy Kreuger!
Now this one would seem unfair seeing that Freddy has many powers including his "Finger Knives", Leather Face does have a nice chain saw. It has been a long time since I have seen a "Nightmare on Elm Street". But I think the edge goes to Freddy. What is your opinion on this one?

Yup, Pennywise would be the Clown from IT! He's probably my favorite movie villain of all time!
I definitely think Freddy would win this one. Again, he's already dead so he can't die. Plus Freddy is smart. He's really clever. Leatherface is like a big dumb kid with a chain saw. Freddy is quick and creative. He could so easily outsmart Leatherface and take him out. Leatherface might get a few strikes, let's say cut off an arm or a leg or whatnot but since Freddy isn't alive anyways he can still carry on his deeds!

LOL. Thats funny.
OK heres a good one Chucky VS Evil Gauge!!
I think this one goes to Chucky. Not only because Gauge is flesh and blood but because Chucky is a doll. Now Gauge carries a scalpel and Chucky carries a knife (I believe). I think this one comes down to who is smarter and that would be Chucky. Just my opinion!
