You'll be glad you missed it...I was only able to catch the last 50 laps or so of the Samsung 500, but it was a pretty exciting race from what I know...
Montoya and Tony were fighting for either 8th or 9th place when Montoya spun Tony out...Jimmie Johnson got into the side of Tony and left the race, but Tony still raced. Tony got loose again (not because of Montoya, surprisingly) but saved his car from going into the wall (he spun and came close...he's awesome.

)
In the second spin of Tony's, Dale Jr. was run into the back of by Kyle Busch...the back of Jr.'s car was totaled, and Busch's car was taken out of the race but fixed. Busch left the track angry and frustrated, and surprise surprise, the crew chief of the #5 asked Jr. to drive the #5!!!!! Jr. agreed and finished the race, saving points for the team. (I love Jr. for that.

)
Jeff Burton and Matt Kenseth basically drag-raced to the finish line, but Jeff Burton won the race and became the first repeat winner at TMS.
Montoya (after the race, of which he finished 8th) took no responsibility for Tony's spin (which was caused by Montoya) and said, "it's just racing." Tony was frustrated and said, "if that's how it's gonna be, better watch out for Chip Ganassi and Montoya." Tony also started rumours of retirement, to which he replied, "my contract with JGR runs out in 2009...I'm not going anywhere in 2 1/2 yrs. I promised my dad that I would quit racing as soon as I stopped having fun racing."
I will find the article on NASCAR.com for ya. (btw, Tony finished a disappointing 25th due to the spin caused by Montoya)
here's the article:
