Eljaraj sighed softly, and grabbed her lightsaber. Though she knew she would be helping Palpatine, he couldn't die just yet. Her free hand glowed, and she sent a blast of purple electricity at the Sith, before activating her lightsaber.

Padme quickly grabbed a gun from a pocket inside her cloak and stood by the Emperor Palpatine for two reasons. One if he tried to escape. Two if anyone else came to assisinate him. She glared at him coldly. So he was the sith. He had ordered her assisination and the blockade on Naboo. The blaster was put to his chest. "If you move or try to kill me, this trigger pulls." She wasn't sure if siths could die by a blast but better to be safe than sorry.

the sith simply sneered, he knew a blaster shot wouldnt phase him and he said, "do it, palpatines the true sith lord anyways"
