Yes, I've recognized that myself as well (so your comment was in no way offensive  ). I mean if you just have a look at them individually, you don't really recognize it that much, but if you see them all together it was even striking for me when I updated my site the last time. I even thought about taking the old ones down.

^Yeah, I've also thought about them as a part of my "graphic-making history" and that's why I've kept them of my site. I've never thought about them as a source of inspiration before, but thinking about it now, I see that you're right. So thanks again for your advice.

You are welcome. I liked your old style as well, and I would be excited to see how you would do graphics in that style now, since you have improved so much, so I imagine they would be quite different!
(When I'm on your site (or actually any Freewebs site) it tends to shut down randomly and direct me to a DriveClean site. Did you ever experience that - I'm getting worried it might be a virus....)

Well, I've thought about making my first banner (the Arwen/Aragorn one) again when I've got some more free time, as I'd really like to use it, but as the erasing and layering is not good enough. So perhaps you'll soon have the chance of seeing an old banner in a better version. I'm quite excited about how it will turn out as well... Concerning freewebs: Hmm, which browser do you use? When I'm on freewebs-sites with IE the site sometimes freezes randomly and I have to restart my computer until it works again, but I've never been redirected to another site.  But since I'm using Firefox the shutting down has completely stopped and the sites generally load faster. I've never experienced a problem like yours...But I hope it isn't some kind of evil virus... Well, when I logged in at freewebs with IE and wanted to update my site it usually took ages until each page loaded. Then I tried FF and everything started working really faster. Since I'm using FF I don't have problems with those random error messages here at A-U as well. But my AOL mail account doesn't seem to like FF because it never opens.  So, I'm still using IE and FF. Each browser has it's advantages.
