Jack continued his way forward, it seemed like the fog would never end and he dared not to glance at his compass.
"This way!" Jack said feeling a change in the air and he turned sharply to the left.

Will felt knots twisting within his stomach. This whole situation seemed wrong and eerily strange. "Uh, Jack? Are you sure you know where we're going?" he asked as he followed close behind, afraid that in the thick fog, he might be lost forever.

Portia nodded in agreement with Will. "Aye... we're in fog, Jack. How would ye know which way we're going?" She asked him, but still followed closely behind. She didn't want any of them getting lost. She sighed deeply and wrapped her arms around herself.

Jack Sparrow suddenly stopped. As soon as he set foot on a new piece of land the fog lifted and was blown away, far to the West.
In front of them was a beautiful meadow. There were large white and green trees, a waterfall, and a river. Birds were heard singing and rabbits were seen hopping around. Everything seemed so perfect, it was so serene and peaceful. In the middle of the field was a small pond and in the center of that was a pile of smooth wet rocks. Coming from the rocks was a fountain of water.
Jack's face smirked and he looked down at his compass. The dial was pointing directly to the water. The Captain had found The Fountain of Youth.

Will's jaw dropped. Where were they? "Jack, are we in heaven? Portia, did we die?" He was terribly confused and puzzled at this serene scene before their eyes.
Slowly walking forward ahead of the group, he looked down at the incredibly green grass and then up at the fountain.

Portia gasped a little at the sight of the beautiful area in front of them. She slowly walked forward and let her shoes go into the grass. She smiled a little and then looked over to the water. She HAD been really thirsty. She went to it and then knelt by the water's edge. She gently cupped her hands and put them underwater, getting ready to take a drink.

"NO!" Jack shouted at Portia with a horrid look spreading over his tan face.
Like a lizard Jack ran straight forward and with a hard jump and a harsh blow to the ribs, he had successfully tackled Portia to the ground before she had gotten a drink.

Portia landed on the ground in pain and stared up at Jack, with wide eyes. "What on earth are ye doin'?!" She yelled at him and slapped his arm, while trying to get him off of her. She had no clue what was so special about the water she had just been ready to drink.

"Jack, what are you doing?!" Will shouted as well. Running to Portia's side, he helped her to her feet and stared Jack up and down. "I suppose there is some good explanation for this," he said with a cocky brow.

Jack stood up from the ground and flicked the pieces of grass off his coat. "Just don't drink the water!" he shouted in a voice of panic.
"Not good for you..." he said with a fib.

Portia glared at Jack and bit and dusted herself off, after Will had helped her up. "And just how would ye know that?" She snapped at him and rested her hands on her hips. She had just about enough of Jack's foolishness.

Jack twitched his mustache and quickly thought up a fib. "I don't know 'bout the water, it just smells like a monkey urinated in it..."
Jack walked away from the fountain and stomped on a stump of grass. "Oio!" he called for their attention, "We'll take a sleep 'ere tonight!"

Portia glared a little more at Jack, but then raised an eyebrow. She looked over to Will and sighed deeply. "I'm gettin' some when he doesn't look." She whispered to him and then sat down on the ground, upset at Jack's earlier actions which caused her to get a sore rump.

Will sat next to Portia and whispered nonchalantly to her, "No, I don't think you should drink it. Let's just keep our eyes open and watch Jack."
Something was in the water that Jack was not tellling them, but William was positive it wasn't monkey urine.

Before the three companions had known it, the sun had settled across to the other side of the world, leaving them in the darkness.
Luckily, Jack had started the fire, and all three were sitting around, Jack of course, waiting for the two to fall asleep. "Well,.." he started, "Looks like nights come, and ye know what that means.."
