OH! To get back on topic...;)...Did anyone else see the newest episode? Did anyone else think it was...odd? :P I don't know. I just thought it was...weird. Ha ha ha. Doctor being electrocuted. Craziness. :P

Say what?!?! There are new Doctor Who episodes out? On what channel? Oh, wait, you guys are in Britain, right? :(

Yep, series 3 is out, and we're on episode 5. If your desperate like Montana go to www.tv-links.co.uk and you can watch them there, but the quality isn't too good. I still need to see episode 5, I can't believe I forgot about it!

I already own the sonic screwdriver, so :P I'm gonna go as Doctor Who for my friend's fancy dress party, so I'm gonna need it then. I'll be sure to post pictures of me looking like a class a idiot :P

And welcome back the~Doctor, tis nice to see you here again

Ha ha ha...desperate. Indeed I am. :P But, I have an excuse! I won't be any where NEAR a televison set, let alone near a TV that has cable (that carries SciFi), this summer. SO, when SciFi DOES get there stupid act together to finally air the new season, I won't be able to watch it on the proper televison. *tear* :P It was either watch on the computer, or not ever watch it. :P And avoid you loverly people. XD SO...:P The lesser of two evils. XD

OOOOH! How fun! Going as the Doctor to a party!! Exciting! :D This past Halloween, my friend dressed up as some person from a Sci Fi show...with a pinstip suit and tie and all that. Sadly, no big coat. But, he didn't have any nice shoes that this character apparently always wears...sooo, he just wore his regular Converse shoes. Looked just like David. Well...almost. XD I tried to convince him that he was the Doctor, but he wouldn't go along with it. But, I followed him around all day, and whenever people asked, before he could answer, I'd say, "He's the Doctor, and I'm his plus one!" XD He got a bit annoyed. XD
But, have fun Kess!! And do share pictures! How exciting!!! :D

That's great! It sounds like somthing I would do!

I found another personthat likes Doctor Who. It made me happy. Unfortunatley, she hasn't seen the ninth Doctor. I told her she really needed to watch it.

Does anyone know when the series are supposed to come out in America?

Hurray for finding people who like Doctor Who! :P This guy I found in one of my archaeology classes always talks to me about the show. :P Except, he's always talking about the originals. :P But it's all good, because we both love Tom Baker. XD

Ummm...I actually just looked on the Sci Fi website and they're saying it's coming in July. *siiigh* I have to endure the damn series on the stupid computer. How lame. :P I want to see explosions on my loverly big TV. XD

O.O

Really? I thought that the series wouldn't come out until around September or so, 'cause I think that is when it aired last year. (or am I just loosing it? Don't you answer that! <.< >.>)

I've never seen any other Doctors besides the ninth and tenth ones, and that was just 'cause my mum said that Doctor Who was good. (she watched it when she was little)

same here. i believe my mum was one of those children who hid every time the daleks appeared, despite the fact that they've clearly just been cobbled together out of a bunch of kitchen utensils (giant pepper pot for the body, whisk for the laser thing, plunger for the sucker...)

Not sure about my mum. She doesn't really talk about it. (but it does create a funny picture in the head! :P ) However, she doesn't like the current series becuase she doesn't like DT. Espically his hair! :P

*runs and hides, waiting for the barage to things to come at him*

Yeah! I swear to you, if you go to the Doctor Who section of the Sci Fi channel website, it says it's coming back in July. I didn't see a specific date, but it says July.
I think they've moved it up, because of the response to the premiere of it last fall here in the States. Lots of people like it. So to appease the fanatic American audiences, they convinced BBC to hand it over to them this summer. :P Ha ha ha.
That's just my explanation. Obviously, but just know, Series 3 is coming to the Sci Fi channel (in America) in July. :P

I talked to my mom a while back, asking her if she knew about Doctor Who, and she just sort of laughed. In a good way. :P She wasn't a wee kid when she watched it. :P But, she said she liked it. :P

So, you're mom doesn't like the new series because of DT's HAIR? XD
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! :roflmao:
Although, that could be considered blasphemy in this club. ;) Ha ha ha!!

I never have found the Daleks frightening...except their facist view of life. :P THAT'S a bit frightening. Plungers? Not so much...;) WELL...maybe. I suppose if I'm ever face to face with a Dalek, or face to plunger...I'd be a bit scared. :P

The only time I find Daleks scary is when my brothers alarm clock wakes me up going "Exterminate!". It makes me jump out of my skin every morning!

And tonights episode was simply amazing. My favvie of the season so far. Even with no kittens. I wasn't very good at following what was going on cos I was struggling to work the rowing machine one legged at the time, but that didn't stop me throughly enjoying it :p

No Doctor Who next week though because of the Eurovision song contest, which we never win anyway, so I don't even bother to watch. And the pain of waiting was made even worse by the trailer for next week- Jack is back!

You have a DALEK ALARM CLOCK?!
*is jealous*
XD That'd scare the crap out of me too. :P What a wake up call. "Good morning. You're going to die now." XD

Mmm...I really want to see this new episode. BETTER than kittens?! MUST be good. :P
It's sad when kittens ruin a season of brilliant shows. :P ;)

Oh man, when I glanced ahead and saw "Jack" I freaked! :P I was thinking it'd be like the season finale when he'd appear. GAH.
I heard about the Eurovision thing - I've no idea what it is...and I was rather angry that they'd do that. :P Although, whenever something gets in the way of one of my shows, I freak out. XD Can you believe I DEBATED between LOST and the freakin' ROLLING STONES?!!! I obviously saw the Stones, but I was really angry that I was missing an episode of Lost. :P
But, I think I can handle no new Doctor Who with the return of Jack. :P SO exciting. Jack just makes everything better.

i'm realy hoping he will. i've been very disappointed with the series so far, and he's the one thing that may keep me watching. i'd heard he wasn't coming back til episode nine, so it was a pleasant surprise when i saw him on the 'next time' bit at the end. i can't believe stupid eurovision means i have to wait two weeks though.

Totally. When the Dalek alarm clock wakes me up, my Jack on the Torchwood poster assures me it will all be OK :P

Ethelfleda- You didn't like this series? I'm really enjoying it. It's not as cheesy as the last one, and I think I prefer that.

i didn't like the last series all that much either. there have been some great moments, but on the whole i don't think either of the david tennant series have been well written at all. i only keep watching because i'm hoping it'll finally get back up to the standard set by the christopher eccleston series.

Yes, I know that saying that is blasphemy in this club, which is why I said it. :P Actually, she just doesn't like CE or DT (esepically not DT), I don't know why, but she doesn't like them. so she doesn't watch the series.

Now to the current conversation, sorry for reverting back for a second there, but I had to clear that up. I have to agree that on a whole, the CE series had a better storyline per episode even if it had less funny parts that season 2 (haven't seen season 3 yet, so I won't comment on that). So over all, I think they both have their strong and weak points, but I still love both seasons!
