((Curi i explained what happened to the others in my post, you just need to read it all))

"You were used by Fate, it was their time to die" he replied to Nolgos's self accusation.

Kena nodded mutely, already looking up at the moonlit sky through the open skylight, rimmed by stone that was white in the silvery moonlight. No sign of a storm there, not even telltale wisps of dark cloud or the smell of rain hanging in the still air. It was deceiving.

"Where are we?" she queried after a moment's silence, eyes following Devarion's movements.

Estelle looked in wonder at the runes alighting around her. The silvery white light cast from the moon's glow bathed the room in an eerie yet breathtaking splendor. Saying nothing, she watched Devarion from where she sat, wondering what the god of night had in store for them.

Eydis paced back and forth in the spot she had seen Devarion, Estelle, and Kena vanish, trying to figure out what exactly had taken place. Why would they do that? she thought with frustration, We should all be together! The day's circumstances were not helping to improve her temper. "All that would make this day better," she said, face twisting into a sarcastic grimace, "Is another visit from Asmundr himself."

She knew that the three other dieties were no longer in the forest, so there was no use in remainng there looking for them. She turned and took off in the other direction. She walked briskly, one hand gripping her bow tightly, the other wavering over her quiver, always at the ready should the need arise to fight. Her specialty might have been one of the gentler ones among the dieties, but that did not mean that she would not fight tooth and nail if circumstance called for it.

Before she had gotten fair though, she spotted two figures. Immediately, her bow came up and she pulled an arrow out of her quiver, but then she realized that the figures were Azra and the mortal, Noglos. Eydis slowed her steps and lowered her weapon, not wanting to appear a fool in front of the two. She moved purposefully over to them.

"Devarion, Estelle, and Kena are gone." She winced immediately after her words, for she knew she was stating the obvious, and she also knew that Azra was not likely to pass up the chance to be sarcastic with her. So she plowed on quickly, hoping to deter him. "But more importantly, where have they gone and when will they be back? Do you think their disappearance is Asmundr's doing? Or a trick of one of them?" She shuddered, hoping desperately that it was the latter and not the former. If Asmundr managed to capture and anihalate any of them, much less three, all would be doomed.

"Oh goddess, you surprise me with you're great powers of observation, one would have thought you would not notice such a small thing as thier disapperance." He said acidly, the stopped "Sorry"
Sorry???? What???
"I shouldn't have said that..."
She's female of course you should, now walk away and don't talk to her she's beneath you.
"...I'f i know anything about Devorien he'l have taken them to his sanctuary, the'll be safe there. I can feel it in the Balance." He looked at her a moment "We should be getting back" he offered her his arm.

(( Iget it now...lol. I was trying to help the others, but I lost where I was and now I'm back!!!))

Aranthor smiled as she heard Azra bugging Eydis. Soon she came into the clearing and saw Eydis, Azra, and the mortal. As she neared..."I would like to know exactly why this mortal is here." She stated, ignoring the fact that they were talking.

Eydis almost choked on the saucy retort she had on her tongue. Azra was apologizing? It seemed unbelievable. She really didn't know what to say. Oftentimes it was easier to deal with Azra when he was being difficult... odd as that was. Because she knew how to be difficult right back.

Finally she managed to say, "And you should be." But her tone wasn't near as bristly as it would have been another time. She took his arm and turned her mind towards the matter at hand. "Yes, his sanctuary," she said with relief, "That would explain things, and it's certainly better than what I had been fearing. But they need to be back soon!"

But before anything else could be said, Aranthor came into the group. Eydis jumped slightly, still on edge from the brief encounter with Asmundr and the raging storm. "Nice to see you're well too, Aranthor," she replied wryly. Then she glanced to Noglos. "As for why the mortal's here.... Well, we believe he will serve some purpose."

"He's not stupid and he's loyal, he's been a servent to both of us Aranthor, and you should not judge him harshly, the day will come when we are glad for the humans help." He said defensivly quickly letting go of Eydis's arm, though he wasn't sure why.

"You mean, your purpose?"

Nolgos asked with a sharp tone as he was tired of the fact that the gods looked down on him and never said what was really on their minds all tough they did express it with their attitude. Nolgos hmhed and crossed his hands before gazing towards the direction of his village.

"You have no need of me here so I will go to the village and gather the militia... but one thing, you gods should learn to get in more contact with humans. It is no wonder that only a few know about you, you are being forgotten."

Nolgos said before starting to walk trough the woods, towards his village.

"You see, he's not stupid. He's on our side and even he pays us no respect, if it is as we think and we are loseing our powers becuse we are being forgotten, then i think we better do as he says." said Azra as he left.

"I will not trust a mortal just like that. Though I see you will." Aranthor retarted getting irritated with herself and the others. "Besides how do you know he has any skill with the sword. And how do you know the other mortals will listen to him?" Aranthor said her voice rising with each word.

He stood and stared at her, his eyes slowly turning white in anger. "Becuse i have collected more lives from his sword than he would care to admit, becuse i have spoken to him on many occasions, becuse he is a Healer of good reputation who the people trust and a known Warrior in his youth. I thought that you Goddess would know of you're better warriors, but aparently not." He spat

Aranthor was nearly shaking frm her anger, "Just because he has killed more people than most do does not mean he is a good fighter! It does not mean he has any skill. He could be the worst fighter in the world and still kill many poeple! What if he was faced with a great foe, stronger than he, what would he do?" She held herself back, she was nearly to her breaking point. When she would bring out her sword, no matter if he was immortal or not.
"There is more to death than just death." she continued. She stopped nearly out of breath. She had had many fights with Azra, but none were this serious.

"And what would you know of Death Anranthor, all you know is the lust of killing" his hands gripped his double handed sword

Elegost Eruaphadion wrote:
Devarion was feeling slightly better; partly because he was in his favoured retreat. He walked down to the middle of the room, and looked up at the stars above them.

"They're moving again," he said, gazing left then right. "That stars," he added, as if it was obvious what he was talking about. He looked back at Kena, who was looking curious at the wonder of this place.

"This is the Chamber of the Stars," he said, holding out his arms in a grand gesture. "Where you got the water from is the Chamber of the Moon, and the other corridor is the Chamber of the Night," he explained. "We are atop Mount Atrum. Well, nearly." he finished, sitting down.

((Sorry :P))

"Because...?" queried Kena, one eyebrow raised in a supremely elegant expression of confusion. "Do you have an ulterior motive to reveal, Devarion?" Her inquisitive mien, combined with slight hint of a smile, revealed she was teasing. Her expression quickly sobered. "Have you any idea if the others are all right? I remember nothing but Asmundr withdrawing somewhat..." she trailed off with a grimace, as if she remembered that presence with no gladness, and unconsciously ran her hands down her arms.
