Okay! Sorry guys...really busy...

STARTING:

The sky was a light grey color...and the midst in the forest known as The Spine was light, so it was easy to see through. A deer stood by a small fig tree, nibbling on it's goodies. A hunter came creeping up behind, bow and arrow in hand, approaching slowly to go and get his catch. He had been following this doe for almost three days...and he needed the meat.

Then, just as the hunter took aim and got ready to shoot, a large blue flash appeared out of nowhere, alighting the forest. The doe, scared, jumped up and took off, as the hunter fell onto the ground, surprised.

He looked up from his fall towards where the light had been. Now, there was only smoke surrounding a small, blue object in the leaves.

The hunter, a local farmboy from the town of Carvahall, named Eragon, brushed off the dirt from his pants and put the arrow up and his bow as he stood, his clothes now damp with dew. He shook his light dirty blond hair to get the leaves back as he approached the shiney, object.

It was a stone.

He knelt down and took his arrow back out and touched the stone lightly. It didn't move, just sat there. How did it get here? Eragon thought as he layed his arrow down and picked up the stone softly, cautiously, and carefully. It was smooth and not hot at all. Eragon knocked on it slightly. It was hollow.

Strange. He thought, sighing. He looked up towards the sky. He needed to get back home...empty handed. He quickly put the stone carefully in his bag, slung his bag over his shoulder and picking up his bow and arrow, headed back to the farm he lived in.

Durza stood over the now unconcious body of an elf. Looking around at the trees, which were on fire, he picked her up, and set her on his horse. Then he jumped onto the horse behind her. Looking around one last time, a frown on his face, he set off for Gil'ead...
