I'm not sure if there is already a topic about them, but does anyone like The Smashing Pumpkins? I'm listening to the song Cherub Rock right now.

Uhm...I don't know why I dislike him..Maybe it's because he tends to take things over the top sometime...

I love the Smashing Pumpkins! I remember saving up the money (I think I was like 10) to buy 'Melancholy and the Infinite Sadness'. I still listen to it! I love the Smashing Pumpkins because they are so unique and original. Awesome band.

The prob is that the lead singer Billy Corgan (spelling?) talked bad about Kurt Cobain (ahem, I HEART Cobain for life)
Still....they're a good band and great songs!!!

^haha yeah, I heard about that too, but men will be men...they'll always have their little personal spats. haha
I love the Smashing Pumpkins *points at avatar*. I love how unique and different their music is...and how it makes you think. I've always liked music where you have to work to find the meaning, rather than having it shoved in your face. hehe
I don't know if y'all have heard, but they're back in the studio again, and planning on putting out a new album soon. I haven't heard exactly when it's coming out, but as soon as it does, I'm going to be the first in line to get it.

Oh, I love The Smashing Pumpkins. I got Mellon Collie back when it first came out. Saw them on that tour too. Lots of my money as a teenager went to merchandise of theirs. My favourite albums are Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie. I'll be right behind you for that album, Venomus.
