Awww, I think I'll really have to buy the EEs one day no matter if my parents think I'm mad or not. They must be so much better.
Btw: The guys in the contest thread wish to know when the voting will start. Let me know if you need any help with the awards.

^You're welcome!
In the Your Life Section there's currently a discussion about having a crush on book characters. Do you actually prefer the book-Aragorn or the movie-Aragorn?
Personally, I can't really decide between both. Aragorn in the books is great, but Viggo playing his role is wonderful as well. And re-reading the book after seeing the movies I always have the Viggo-Aragorn in my mind when I read about the book-Aragorn now.

Good topic Rose! I love both, but Book Aragorn is more cooler then Movie Aragorn because he has an attitude and he is not ashamed of who he is, unlike movie Aragorn (sometimes you want to scream at him!)

Yeah, that's right. The "I-don't-want-to-be-king" and the "Arwen-go-into-the-west" attitudes are sometimes a bit to exaggerated in the movies, but I guess they wanted to add some extra tension to the movie...
Do you actually picture the Viggo-Aragorn in your mind when you read the books now?

Well, I actually meant that when you read a book you usually imagine how the characters might look like. So, when you read LotR now, do you still picture your own version of Aragorn or rather Viggo as Aragorn?
Btw: Nice new name! I really like it.

Aradan: Sure welcome to the club!!
Rose: Thank you! And thanks for clearing up the question. I picture Viggo as Aragorn because he truely looks the part! Not a beardless and short-haired Aragorn!

Welcome, Ardanwen!
@Ashwise: Yep, I agree that Viggo is perfect as Aragorn. Have you ever seen the animated film version of LotR? I didn't like the Aragorn they used there at all. He looked pretty strange. Viggo's much better with his ranger look. And sooo hot. *swoons*
EDIT: I've just found a pic of the cartoon Aragorn... So, I think Viggo looks really much better. I can't actually imagine that Arwen would have fallen in love with this kind of Aragorn.

I saw the animated version. I was so dissapointed! And Arwen would probly run if she saw this version! I think his expression looks funny because he looks he is going to pick you up!

^Yep, I agree. I've seen the animated version after the normal movies and I've never watched it till the end, as it was so boring.
And I agree with you concerning his expression in the pic. Poor Arwen!

Oh yeah! I've forgotten about that already. I guess Viggo would not have been delighted wearing such a costume...

Yep. I didn't like the animated version very much in general. Most characters looked so strange...
