Brendon cocked an eyebrow and said, "You looked decent enough to me ..." He smirked and let his eyes drift befor looking back at her face and grinning like a boy who just tok candy from the jar and got away with it.

Bret nodded. "I figured she'd leave early." He missed Shonnalen, Trudy, and the mall already.

"I slept alright." Allen said, noticing Ace's hand had gone towards her clothes. She probably had a few weapons. <i>Don't make her mad.</i> he said to himself.

Ace forced a far off smile. "Sorry for seeming nervous... you startled me and I guess I'm still getting used to things around here. I can't shake the feeling that someone is after me all the time like I felt on the streets." Now that there were not many other people around, Ace could talk and not be so nervous and scared she'd say something she'd regret. She'd never been one for large crowds, or even a handfull of people she didn't know around. It made her uncomfortable.

" He snatched the baseball and turned and walked into this room bring ing several things that he collected with him to trade including the football. "Ok .. now we can leave."

after getting what food they could they headed back to the mall. they came back with only two half filled bags on food. they got a few apples a few oranges, some bananas. some more oatmeal..which they were all getting sick of. but thats all they had. she walked into the kicthen with the bag of fruit and set it on the table.
