Alendariel urged her horse into a gallop next to her companions. She kept eyeing the storm, looking for something abnormal.
"We should really hurry... I don't want to be riding during a lighting storm like this," she said to everyone.

Meanwhile, the lighting storm had already covered Edoras's sky. Everyone was inside, even the horses. Rain stood in Medusild, umong Eomer's advisers. She wasn't one, but wanted to listen on what was to be said about the war going on...

Raelyn saw the lighting start to flash off in the distance. Crandol held on tight to her as best as he could wile driving the horse.

Gernhart looked at everyone. " we must go as fast as we can." he shouted. he urged his horse even faster. " ya!" he shouted so that his horse would go faster.

Constince urged Shadow Stalker into a pca matching that of Gurnhart. She held tightly watching as Edoras came into view on the horison.

Aldendariel watched a wall of falling water come toward them. It was already past Edoras, and heading straight for them. Within minutes the whole group was overcome by the rain. Within seconds they were drenched. Edoras was only a few miles ahead of them. The now soppy ground was getting hard for the horses to gallop on.
"We need to go at a slower pace. For the horses' sake!" she yelled over the roar of the rain and howling wind...

Shadow Stalker shyed away as a flash of lightning landed close to them. Constince tryed to calm him but he was beyond reasoning.Shadow Please... I'm right here... calm down everything is fine. We are almost there calm dwon. He ignored her and charged forward wanting to be out of the rain. He slid in a thick patch of mud and Constince was thrown from the saddle. He charged on unaware that he had lost his ridder.

Gernhart saw Contince fly from her saddle. he quickly stoped his horse and jumped down. " are you alright?" he asked puting her on his horse. they had to get out of the storm quickly.

"Yeah ... probably a little brused, but most of the damage was to my pride." She ducked as another flash of lightning lit the sky with blue and purple light. The next time she looked up was to see the walls of Edoras looming before them, black with the rain that spilled from the sky.

Crandol rode over to Gernhart. " she ok?" he asked.
" yes she's fine." he said to Crandol.
Gernhart rode up to the gates and called out. Lady Eruaina asked us to come.." he yelled at the gaurds at the gates. they soon opend the door and they rode in.

Shadow Stalker followed them into the sheltering walls of Edoras his head lowered in shame.Constince slid from the back of Gernhart's horse and gathered Shadow Stalkers reigns. "Yes now you feel bad for dumping me on the soggy wet ground... I see how you are." She patted his wet shoulder and said, "It's ok ... I'm fine you didn't hurt me." Shadow Stalker's head came up he nezzled against her.

A few moments later, Eruraina came running up to them, hood covering her face. You could tell it was her, though, because a red braid stuck out of the hood.
"I'm sorry I couldn't come out and meet you, and help you. Lord Eomer wouldn't let me, and I needed to listen to the ambasadors... very boring." she shouted over the rain...

Alendariel thanked Eruraina, and dismounted. There was no reason to ride now that they were in Edoras, withe the lighting and all....

Constince nodded, "I woul'd not wish ridding in that kind of wether on anyone ... except perhaps on my worst enemy..." She smiled and lead Shadow Stalker into the barn where she took off his saddle and toweled him dry.
