Jack indulged his throat with more of the delicious water. The water was neither hot nor too cold, and it did not bloat one's belly. So a man, would never stop drinking if he had not an ounce of will power.
Jack didn't hear Portia come from behind, all he heard was the rush of the waves in the pool.

Portia continued walking over to Jack and then slapped him hard on the back of the head. "You pig! Ye don't like me drink from it, because YOU want ta drink from it first!" She yelled angrily.

"Portia!" Will shouted, "Calm down!"
Looking down at Jack, he hoisted him up by his shoulders and stood him on his feet. "Now, you have some explaining to do, Jack Sparrow. You leave me and Portia completely clueless on why we have come on this adventure and now you begin to act insane over water. What is going on?" He crossed his arms angrily and leaned forward in Jack's face.

Jack wobbled and just barely caught his balance. He coughed and wiped his wet lips.
Jack lifted his kohl-rimmed eyes and raised his eyebrows. "I was right mates...it's monkey urine...don't drink it.."
He then started to walk away.

Portia glared more to Jack. "Well, if it's so good... then I'll drink it." She told him and then got down on her knees in front of the water's edge. She cupped her hands underwater and got ready to take sips of it.

Will stepped in front of Jack defensively, "Jack, what are you doing?" With his eyebrows raised, he took a quick look at Portia, "Stay away from the water. Get back.."
Turning back to Jack, he said, "Take your sword away from her. There is no need for bloodshed here. Just tell us what is going on."

Portia stared at Jack, with wide eyes. She couldn't believe that Jack was willing to kill her for this water. She slowly stood up straight and backed away from the water, still staring at Jack. Something wasn't right here.

Will did not hasten to help Jack. Instead, he stood back in confusion for a moment and then leaned over him, "Jack? Woo hoo?" He snapped his fingers in front of his face and whistled, but there was no response.
Kneeling down, he placed his ear near Jack's mouth and found him to be breathing, "Hmmm...well, this is strange. He's breathing, but something in the water made him go unconscious." Looking to Portia, he laughed, "I guess it's a good thing that Jack threatened you."

Portia stared at Will and didn't say a word. She saw him laughing, but she was not amused. She just shook her head and walked back toward the campfire, still trying to figure out what was so special about the water.
