Shonnalen awoke and groggaly sat up. The headache was back, but it wasn't bad. She dressed quickly and headed downstairs.

Trudy walked out of the mall and into the streets. " i wanna go to the old park...you know...the one that no one really knows about except the tree huger people who keep it looking nice." she said to him turning down a secret way to it. they had an in with these tree hugers.

Brendon smiled, "Want me to push you on the swings?" He asked giving Trudy a teasing look

Ace watched them until their voices were out of distance, then slid down. She stuck to the shadows and made her way to the roof of the building, where there was a slight breeze, and settled herself against a pole. She hugged her knees, feeling sad. "I need to get out of here..." She mumbled to herself. "I've always been best on my own anyway... no need to hinder these people." She sighed, then continued to mumble to herself. "I just wish I could find out why they lived... and if I will too... if I can, maybe I hold the cure to this disease..." She burried her face in her arms, her feeling mixed. She had blood from her parents that could be tested... if only she could find a doctor that wasn't dead to test it. And what if she too caried what had kept them alive? But on the other hand, she was terrified of going to have her own blood taken. Her nightmares consisted of two things... her last look at her parents, and being in a hospital. She felt queasy.

"sure...just don't knock me off this time." she said teasing him back. they walked a few more mins and then came to the park. the swings were old and rusted but they worked. there were lots of flowers and trees. not very many people that lived in the city really knew about this place. but since Trudy had an in with the tree hugers they were alowed in.

After poking around downstairs for at while Shonnalen decided to go up to the roof. The headache was getting worse.Alittle fresh air couldn't hurt. She thought to herself as she pushed the door open and walked out on to the roof. She rounded a corner and saw Ace sitting there. "Oh ... I'm sorry I didn't know anyone was up here... I'll go." She said and turned to go, but got dizzy and leaned heavaly against the wall.

Brendon smiled at Trudy's teasing as they walked into the park.

Ace jerked up, scared that her mumbelings had been heard. "I... uh... no, you're alright! Hey...are you ok? Here... I've got some stuff for headachs that works really well." She pulled out a vial from her pocket filled with blue green liquid. "Take a few drops of this and your headach will be gone in no time." Her eyes were filled with concern.
