"I'm... ooohhwww..." She went to get up and cringed. She sank back down to the floor. "I'm... there was a guy... he's been chasing me... he killed my parents and is after me... I..." She gasped as a sharp pain shot through her head and arm and she held back tears. Laying her head back, she closed her eyes.

"Don't move!" Shonnalen said She reached over and carefully ran her hands down Ace's arm. "Good no broken bones, but this is still gonna hurt..." In one swift motion she popped Ace's shoulder back into place. "That's gonna be sore for a while... personal experaince."

"YEEAHHH!!! Hey! That hurt!!!" Ace yelped and almost didn't succeed in refraining from slapping Shonnalen. She felt faint and dizzy, and hurt all over, and cradeled her aching arm. Her back was really sore, and she realized why she'd tripped. He had kicked her in the back, trying to knock her down, probably hoping she'd break her neck..
She curled up in a little ball against the stairwell fighting the tears that threatened to over come her. She was strong... she wasn't going to cry... she could do this... she wasn't very good at convincing herself these things. "Shonnalen... that vial... the same one I gave you..." her voice trailed off as another wave of pain hit her and she cringed.

Shonnalen pulled the vial from her pocket then moved so that she could better reach Ace. She pulled the girl over so she could better help. She unstoppered the vial and held it to Ace's lips.

Ace took a small swallow then lay still for a few minutes giving it time to begin to work. After a short while, she struggled to get up and stand on her feet with out the room tilting.

"Easy there Tiger..."Shonnalen said standong quickly to steady Ace on her feet.

Brendon walked over and carefully ran a finger over the stiches. "Yeah ... they are healing nicely." He smiled and leaned closer to kiss her. "I love you." He murmered their lips touching.

Trudy kissed him again. " if it hadn't been for Ace they probably would have gotten infected. she's weird...but...i think she has something to offer us all. " she said making him sit down. she scooched and sat in his lap and wraped his arms around her. " brendon..you know i offten think why Bret didn't want me dating you..." she said running her fingers across his hand. " what happend to make him not like you? what did you do?" she asked Brendon knowing she would get an answer simply because she asked him about it.
