Jayden didn't even have to think of her answer, it flowed from her mouth freely.

"No he did not" she replied.

Slight relief flowed though the Angel, knowing that the elf was safe and would not be harmed due to the fact that he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. She would have smiled at him had it not caused problems. Quietly she waited for the next question.

"So he assaulted you with an unknown intention," said the prosecutor. "And then what? You proceeded to kill him. Had the idea of disarming him ever crossed your mind? You're a head angel, my Lady. To safely detain a vampire is well within your powers."
"I think we should listen to her entire story," interrupted the light representative. "With that, we can have a better understanding of the story, at least her side."
Eccelsat nodded at him and waited for Jayden's story.

Hythraii wanted to speak. Wanted to help Jayden in some way. He would not stand it if he was free and she was not. But, he forced his mouth to stay shut unless her freedom was at stake. Until then, he wouldn't add any complications.

"Very well i will tell you what happened" she replied.

"I was in the park minding my own. I happened to be thursty to I was takeing a drink from the fountain when i heard a voice. It was a vampire, he proseeded to mock me. I dealt with it by saying nothing, for as we all know words of hate would never cross my lips. He continued to try and push me. I simply asked him what he wanted, in which he replied."

"Just out and about while the sun is covered, you know that you should not be out alone, one of us could harm you."

"I replied, you know that it's against the rules to attack an angel."

"In which he answered, ah but when were we known to follow the rules."

"Then he proceeded to grab my arm. I then told him three times to let me go in a nice manner. When he did not listen to my requests i used a slight amount of power to push him a few feet away. I turned my back on him and began to walk away. That was when he jumped upon me from behind and sunk his teeth into my neck. I spun around to remove him and that is when my skin was torn. After he was loose i killled him by use of my sword."

Hythraii nodded, surprise and in awe of how much detail she had managaed to take in. The fight was in such a blur to him. He hoped he'd have the change to talk to her and learn how she did it.

The jurors began to quarrel among themselves as well as Eccelsat and Hariam. Both Eccelsat and Hariam agreed that Dalanis acted recklessly against the law but Jayden should not have killed her. The prosecutor then declared, "She has confessed the crime in her story. As such, this is proof of her guilt."
"Very well," said Hariam. "Let the jury convene and decide her fate."
The jury retired into a room and debated for several minutes before reemerging. They declared Jayden guilty of murder and now awaited Eccelsat and Hariam's sentence. Due to the fact that it was in self defense they decided to be lenient with her.
"Jayden," Eccelsat declared. "You are found guilty in the Court of Lithian. You are to be exiled for six months. You are to resign from your position as Head Angel and your powers are restricted. You can not carry or wield any weapons."

Jayden waited for what seemed forever but soon enough her waiting was ended. Her sentence was a little harsh she thought but so be it. However, not being able to arm herself she knew that she would be a target. Only difference was that now she would have no way to defend herself but with her own two hands.

Jayden announced her resign and passed all her responsabilities to her next in command. She also gave him control of her sword. Then she walked out of the court room almost a mortal herself. She pulled her wings in so they did not show and made her way back to the park.

She felt helpless, and she knew that the chosen one's needed to be found. She could do nothing, a fear inside her grew. If Aziquel and his kind foudn the chosen one's before her all would be lost.

Hythraii watched as Jayden left.

"That's your decision, then?" He asked, still completely surprised and against it. "How can that be your decision? You are all not listening?"

(hey guys, this is getting really boring, the CHosen need to start doing something rather than sitting in an inn, waiting for Court to get out...could we somehow start working our way into the actual quest or something?)

The court began to leave and once again, Eccelsat's captains began to convene.
"Her exile will give us some time," said a vampire. "Her successor is weak and indecisive. We should be able to find both Chosens by the time, she's allowed to resume power."
"Has the House of Garshi pacified yet," a fallen angel asked Eccelsat.
"As far as I can see, yes," Eccelsat answered. "Some of them are still stung by the fact that she isn't killed but Garshi has felt justice was served."

Hythraii growled as everyone ignored him and he ran out to follow Jayden.

"Jayden!" He called, running over. "You cannot stand for that!" He said. "You were only defending yourself!"

"Good," Fasn, a fallen angel captain that has proved himself again and again in battle. "Now about the Chosen Ones..."
"I suggest we send my agents," Cann, a vampire lord said. "They are trained in persuasion."
"We're not interested in torturing them, Cann," Eccelsat retorted.
"No, of course not. But we need to convince them to our side. I'm afraid to say this but I, for one, feel the world wouldn't care less if knowledge was drained from it."
"That's true. Very well, this is what we will do. Cann, I want your agents to find where these Chosen Ones are. Once we know where they are, I'll be able to convince them myself."

Jayden turned around to see Hythraii running up to her.

"Yes, it was self defense but their say is final. May i ask you of one more favor" she asked.

She needed someone to protect her due to the fact she had no sword. She couldn't carry no weapons of any kind and her powers were less.
