" yep thats right." she smiled. they soon got to the hospital and walked in. she looked around. Shonnalen was right about the smell. she covered her nose. " oh my gosh....how can they stand to live in this..." She said steping over a body or two. " Bret? Kira? anyone here?" she called out.

Brendon nearly gaged and stepped back outside to get some fresh air. Once he had gootn over nearly being sick he covered his mough and nose and stepped into the building after Trudy.

Bret turned as he heard somebody come into the hospital and call. "Trudy?" he hurried out to the front hallway. A grin broke out on his face when he saw Trudy, then faded a bit when he saw Brendon was with her. "Hey guys." he said.

"I'm ok... really..." She was more trying to convince herself then Shonnalen. "I just need to... go lay down for a while." She straightened up, hoping no one else had seen her tumble. "Shonnalen, make sure everyone has weapons with them at all times, and don't let anyone go anywhere alone. If that guy finds out I'm not dead from that fall, he'll be back." Slowly and laborously, she made her wawy to her room and collapsed on her bed. She didn't move.

Trudy ran up to him and gave him a hug. " BRET!!!" she huged him tightly. " gosh you've been gone two days and i miss you like crazy already." she said smiling at him.

" i'm doing good. keepin brendon in line pretty well." she said her eyes twinkling at Brendon. " we just got back from that park the tree hugers have. theres a new girl at the mall...alen seems to be taken with her. " she said giggling.

she smiled. " well..she's a little strange...she seems to have a secret that i havent figured out yet but she's nice..." she laughed. " she got Brendon stuck in the elavator..but she got it working...sorta.." she said looking over at brendon.

Brendon walked over, "Gee Bret I thought we were over the hostilitits." He extended his hand in greeting. "We've missed you at the mall... Shonnalen most." The smiled slightly.

Shonnalen watched Ace walk/stumble into her room, then headed toward the the gun store to add a couple od knives to her aunterage.

Bret smiled too and shook the offered hand. He was relieved that Brendon didn't come to beat him up. "I miss you all too, and the mall."
He turned and started walking down the hallway. "Kira should be back here."
