I LOVE THIS BOOK! At first i thought it sucked because the writing isn't that great but than you get into the story and the writing doesn't matter any more. i have always longed to be a warrior just like Therrin. It isn't a great peice of literature at all but it is still a good book.

What do you think?

I thought it was pretty good, but I would have liked a bit more difficulty on Therrin's part. Like, she succeeded at EVERYTHING, and really, she's only thirteen. It was engaging, though, a very enjoyable book all things considered.

^ooh, most def. She's a great female character, if not a little mary-sueish... i read Blade of Fire, and it's also really good, the author has matured, and its nice to see the conflicts within the family.
