Did any of you stay until after the credits? There was a cool clip. There was a child running to a clip singing "yo ho" and the words undernethe read "ten years later" Elizabeth comes into view. Its obviously her child. Then we see Will sailing in on his ship (If its at all possible, he looks even hotter) Everybody is smiling. The end.
My question. It must no take all day to farry souls. Why can't Elizabeth visit Will?

Oh. That makes sence. And he can't stop ferrying souls, because then he would grow tentacles and look ugly.

Muhuahuauwahu....honest... I've had this font colour since I changed my banner, last week sometime.
*sigh* Norrie's dead... I can't bear them bringing more people back... so i will moarn in peace.
Alright, that's waht I thought, because I knew you didn't have this font colour forever (as in since you started writing in white font! *nodnod*)
TheThain, I remember someone asking JF but I never stayed around for the answer, and I was wondering the same!

I'd give my camera, and buy advance tickets to go see your movie! Quote: TheThain - Sadly, big blockbuster trilogies are doing this more and more. They tell you something then expand it, but make it so it just about makes sense... but you still wonder why it was never mentioned in the first place.
A-U members should take over all movie companies. Then we wouldn't have these problems!

TheThain, I am a die hard Wlliabether. However I really do see what you are saying about killing Norrington for the sake of Willabeth. Peronsaly speaking I think that they killed him though for four reasons. 1. I do not think that the writers could come up with what They considered a good ending for him. 2. Another words one where that would have him still being alive (so many of his fangirls would be happy). 3. Being redeemed 4. And not running the risk of messing up the Willabeth romance or Will's chance at becoming mortal once again. Now why they did not have him become captain of the flying Dutchman as JF suggested I do not know for sure. I am guessing that they just wanted it to be Will so that all of the Will (fans) and/or Willabethers could have a main moment so to speak. A scene that would really get all of them talking. So in a way I do think that their descision to kill Norrington was in part due to Willabeth. It certainly was not fair to his fans by no means. Giving up one character (all together) for another character's storyline is never idea a good idea in my opinion.
As for all this talk of a sequel...I would go and see it if Will is in it. Yep, I said it. At the very least I will admit that I started watching Pirates of the Caribbean because of Will (Orlando Bloom). If it did not have Will in it, I would totally see it...but I might wait until it came out to dvd. Oh, now I bet that really lost me some points. (laughs) Sorry I can not help it. The idea of watching Barbossa and Jack chase after immotality does sound like a very cool plot. It just does not sound like a plot worth 40-60 dollars to go and see it in the theatre to me. (shrugs) I would still see it though and I might be very surprised. So I am not against a sequel and I would love it if it had Will in it (totally go see it in the theatre too). If Will was not in it I would still see it but might wait until it came to dvd (depending on the money situation). Then if they do not make another sequel that too would be allright with me too. The way they left it was beutiful and it came full circle. I really enjoyed this ending and if it is the only ending we get, I am fine with it. I am pretty much just enjoying the ride.

^ I would have to agree with you, but I think I would have to see it in theaters, even without Orlando and Will...though, it will be hard without him in it...but, I think they would have him in it, but you never know....

Let him fight agaist Becket and them join the Becket-free navy, like JF suggested. Why can't the writers understand that? Quote: 4. But the reason Pirates did so well, was because of Johnny Depp. Quote: Giving up one character (all together) for another character's storyline is never idea a good idea in my opinion.
Well said! I agree whole-heartedly.
I really hope they don't make a 4th. They couldn't do it without Orlando or Kiera, though. Maybe they could do a movie about Jack set in the time before he met Elizabeth and Will. That could be interesting.

Hey, I was thinking.... Barbossa's one of the pirate lords, but doesn't that contradict the first film a little? Because Gibbs said "But Jack escaped the island, and he still has that one shot, but he won't use it save on one man: his mutinous first-mate." and then Will says "Barbossa..."
So, my questions is this: Why on earth would a pirate lord serve as first-mate?
