Shonnalen had decided to leave Ace's room. "If you feel like talking I'll be in my room ... wake me up if you have to." She said before leaving. She headed to her room and got ready for bed.

Brendon felt Trudy move and opened his eyes. He saw that she had gone back to sleep and did the same.

Ace nodded slightly, not wanting to be left alone, but on the same token, ashamed and not wanting anyone to see her present state.
After a while she pulled herself together, and tried to stand up. Her leg gave out and she landed with a thump on the floor, cringing and biting her lip to keep from making any sound. She took a deep breath and tried again. This time she made it to the bed, then sat down hard. She pulled her pant leg up and rubbed her sore knee. It sure was acting up bad these past few days... it had been chipped a long time ago, and the chipped peice never removed. Usually there were no problems with it though. She ached all over, but the medicine had at least helped. Her head hurt and had a big knot on it, and between that and her knee, her back was sore, and her arm hurt very badly from where it had to be poped back into place. She came down on her back carefully and closed her eyes, tired, but not really wanting to sleep for fear her night mares would return. She got up again and slowly made her way to Shonnalen's room and knocked. The light was still on, so she knew she was still awake. "Can I come in?" She asked softly.

Shonnalen heard a knock at her door and walked over to answer it. She smiled when she saw Ace. "Sure, come on." She stepped aside allowing Ace to walk through befor dropping the thick curtain that covered the door. "As you have probably just guessed, I don't sleep much. What can I do for you?" She asked.

Trudy fineally woke up at about 11. she turned over and saw brendon. she kissed his forehead softly and moved the hair from his eyes. she smiled at him and just lay there.

Brendon smiled as he was awakened by a kiss. He felt the softness of Trudy's hand on his brow and smiled. "Mmmm ... Good Morning..." He said with his eyes still closed. He rolled onto his side and pulled her close to him.

Trudy smiled. " good afternoon." she said giggling. " so i've made up my mind. today is the day i figure out what the ace girl is all about." she said proudly.

Brendon smiled. "knowing my sister ... she probably already knows ... why don't you just go ask her." He said opening his eyes and looking at her now.

Brendon smiled and then sat up a bit and kissed her full on the mouth. "Now that... is a kiss." He said smileing as he looked down at her.

" whoo...heck yes.." she was a little bit flustered from the kiss. she giggled. " you wanna come with me to ask your sister about Ace." she said more wanting him to possibly protect her then to just be with her.

"Sure." He said rolling out of the bed. He stood and survayed what he was wearing, and decided it was good enough to see his sister in.

"Hi.... yeah... uh... thanks..." Ace's face looked unusually paler then normal, and one look in her bright green eyes could tell she was still in pain, and something weighed heavy on her mind. Something that she needed to tell, but was afraid to. She paced the floor, limping still. "See.. I told you about my parents.... but... there's some more I know... I've never told anyone... and see, well, there's this guy... and then with my parents... he knows I'm like them... the virus doesn't work on everyone... he's caught me three times... Ace isn't my real name... OUCH!" Her leg gave out and she landed in a heap on the floor and sighed, very tired looking and upset. "I'm sorry... I don't know how to say any of this or even order the thoughts and what I know..." She bowed her head.

Trudy got out of bed and looked in the mirror and tried to get her hair to lay down. it wasnt working too well.
she shrugged.
she looked at Brendon and smiled. " ok lets go." she said grabed his hand.

Shonnalen walked over to Ace and helped her up and over to the bed. "Just relax, walking arround on that leg isn't going to help it. you need to rest a bit." She went and got the vial that Ace had givven her earlier, then sat on the bed facing her.

Ace sank down on the bed and pulled a pillow into her lap and layed her head face down in it. After just a few minutes it got to where she couldn't breath, and she heard Shonnalen comming back anyway. She lifted her head and took a swallow out of the vial, nodding thanks. Tears welled up in her eyes, but she refused to cry. "Shonnalen, I don't konw what to do... and don't even know what to say right now." Anger at herself for her weakness and confusion welled up in her, but she refused to let it show. Her eyes just turned a slight shade darker green.
