Here's the summary:

Treasure hunter Benjamin Franklin Gates (Cage) looks to discover the truth behind the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, by uncovering the mystery within the 18 pages missing from assassin John Wilkes Booth's diary IMDb.com

The trailer is here:

http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/180983944 ... .37382620-

I can't wait! National treasure is definetly one of my favorite movies, and this deals with a Civil War tale, which is one of my favorites. I also can't wait to see the trio-Ben, Abigail, and Riley-in action again.

Anyone else agree with me?

Hmm... I loved the first National Treasure movie----I'm kind of worried that they're doing a sequel. Let's hope they'll pull off a Pirates.

Wow. That is one long URL. :surprise:

xD I saw the trailer earlier today (and nearly had a heart attack - I had no idea they were making another one!) and it looks great - so far. Can't wait for the full trailer.

I wonder why they had to kidnap the President?

The first one defiently rocked...and I like some sequels...(Not all) And I'm hoping this will be one of those awesome sequels. :D Plus I know I'm repeating myself, but I love the fact that it takes place based on the Civil War. ((I'm a history freak :D))

I love Riley! "Now let's recap. We've broken into Bukingham palace and the oval office, stolen a page from the president's super secret book and actually kidnapp the president of the united states. What are we going to do next? Short-sheet the Pope's bed?"

I was laughing at the end of that quote, and it makes you wonder why they did that, along with what'll happen in the movies.

I've always wanted to short sheet some ones bed. I think I'll go short-sheet my brother's bed right now.

I agree - the first one was great, I'm a bit concerned that they're messing with it. But I have a good feeling about it, which more than I could say for Pirates. Let's hope it doesn't turn out like that. *shudders*

You know, I actually highly disliked the first movie. I thought it was a really corny adventure flick. I love Nicholas Cage, but... eh... The didn't like the whole story.

Just distorting history...

^Really? Because I thought the history was actually pretty darn stable, and they've used the details very interestingly. My own US History teacher adores this movie next to the original Star Wars trilogy because of how well this movie is put together.
