They drove into the ground of HYENA and Raye swerved his vehicle into the garage, admiring his vast collection. He consideratly parked the car and gave Mai a quick smile - he switched off the engine and grabbed the car keys, ready to lock the car as soon as they both climbed out.
Raye had his free hand on the interior door handle but turned to face Mai, "And thank you again for saving me," he repeated once more and gently kissed her on the cheek until facing away, embarrassed by his sudden irrational action. He silently opened the door and slipped out of the car, waiting for Mai to do so too so he could lock his car.
Mai felt blood rush to her cheeks as she blushed, getting out of the car and looking at Raye with a smile. She walked to him, through the car and kissed him gently back, "It's not a problem, just don't make a habit of it." She grinned slightly and stepped back, heading towards the door into the main HYENA building. _________________

Raye grinned back as he followed her back into HYENA, waved his goodbyes and then immediately made his way to the staff room to make sure Catrin and Estelle had been signed it.
"Who's... Asha?", he pondered as he checked the computer and then the clipboard of registrations.
He walked briskly out of the room and back into the main wall, searching for the first lounge - when he found it amidst the other identical sets of door which could only be differed from the etched signs, he opened the door slowly and called, "Is anyone in?"

Catrin turned away from the window at the sound of the voice, and looked around to see one of the men that had helped her to begin with. Raye she thought he was called. "Yea, we're in here." Catrin replied, boldly for someone so shy. "They signed us in."

The group sat in uncomfortable silence for a few minutes, then Raye came into the room. Brody stood, glad that someone who knew what to do was here. "This is Asha." he said quickly, gesturing to the girl. "She was out in the woods, looking for HYENA, so I brought her here."

Two more guys came out of the shadow, wielding knives. Marsia gulped but held her ground. She wasn't that harmless and she could, in a way, fly.
(holy cow, you guys move fast)
Turning a corner, Jackie observed four figures under the weak orange glow of a streetlight. A woman, and three men surrounding her. And armed with blades.
She reached for the air again, but couldn't find any threads. And no wonder - she was exhausted. Ducking into a niche between two buildings, which was relatively safe, the girl watched and waited, trying desperately to control the air. The woman looked like she could take care of herself - not many people carried swords on the streets - but Jackie didn't want to take any chances. She tried again, reaching, but there was nothing. Yet. _________________

Marsia waited for them to move. Despite training for so long, she hadn't actually used her sword on a living human. It was mostly for discouraging people from attacking her Then one of them lunged at her with his knife. She jumped and kicked him in the stomach, forcing him on his knees. She then stepped on his shoulders to get a good jump, which she got. She did a flip and landed behind her adversaries. She began to run away but one of the men seized her arm. Desperate, she brought her sword on his hand. The man screamed and let go of her. She continued running.

Hayden entered the lounge and stopped awkwardly. Usually this room was more empty than full and a good place for him to get away from the others and not to destroy another something with his mind.
He cursed under his breath and sat his back up against the wall. "You all finished in here?" he questioned as a sarcastic smile settled onto his face.

She could feel the air, finally. She had no fine control, but she could push it.
Jackie thrust wind forward, forcing the men to the ground. The air swirled thickly above them, offering no way out.
She stepped out of her niche into the light, sending her voice to the fleeing woman on a breeze. "You can stop, now. You're safe." Funny how her french accent thickened when she did that.

Raye stepped into the room more as he gave Asha a welcoming smile until turning to Brody, "It was a wise thing to do, Brody. Thanks. There are some mutants out there who would attempt to manipulate Asha if they saw her first."
His attention diverted from Brody to Estelle, "And I read the note Takeshi left on my windscreen. Mai and I found the mutant that could of possibly been the one Takeshi mentioned on the note... the one which you had seen on the train. His name is Darius Wellington - and he's highly dangerous, as we found out," he mentioned and then turned his glance towards the window, observing the scenary, "Mai saved me."

Catrin smirked a little, "Saved by a girl." She muttered. Since they arrived they'd been shown to their rooms and given timetables after choosing their lessons. Some people had codenames already but Catrin was pretty sure she didn't. "What do we have to do to get codenames if we don't already have one? Or is it just something some people have and others don't?"
Mai went to her dormitory and sat on her bed, really tired and surreal. She hadn't intended to kiss Raye, but after he kissed her her mind was taken over by something else and she wanted to kiss him back. She decided she'd have a bath, relax herself again, today had been an experience without a doubt. Wandering through in to one of the bathrooms, she ran herself a hot bath and submerged in to its bubbly depths.

"You can choose a codename which you find suitable, though you don't have to have one. It's a sort of mutant alias, I suppose," Raye attempted to explain with a loose shrug, "Have you got any ideas for your own codename?"

Catrin pondered for a moment and then replied, "Alatus is good, it means 'winged' or something in Latin." She though it fitting and fluttered her wings affectionatey. "I was also wondering, will I be able to fly around here?"

"The grounds outside would be more suitable," Raye suggested but he was obviously having other thoughts as well, "Perhaps in the halls and any of the large enough training rooms, but it would probably be best if you avoided flying in the dormentries or classrooms."

"Well yes, I wasn't intending on flying inside the building." Catrin replied sarcastically. "I think I'll go to my room now, as I'm tired and this has been an...eventful day." She swept lightly from the room, adding a "goodnight" at the doorway.
