Raye shook his head, "Yumeko knows nothing about this... and Takeshi? He wouldn't do that - he knows that I put it there for a reason. Accept- no, of course not," he shook his head at his unspoken thought, "But thanks, anyway. I shouldn't blame myself, I suppose."

He freed his hand from Mai's warm grasp and grabbed the glass of water, dipping his hand into it. With his fingers bent in position, he chose a piece of imagery in his mind to mould on and watched with a fixed, concentrated glance as he froze a specific shape in the water.

Despite the rest of the water being frozen as well, it was more fragile and sleet-like than the shape in Raye's hand so he could easily pull it out. He revealed to Mai his blunt, minute ice sculpture of a rose and placed it into her hands - smiling faintly at her, "Be careful - it'll probably start to melt," he warned but he placed his finger on top of it, sprouting continuse streams of icy frost to keep it cool.

Mai laughed softly, "Thank you. I wish I could do that, it seems much more impressive than walking through walls or making yourself invisible when you're able to. Although we have seen they do come in pretty handy in life or death situations."

"Hey," Raye grinned, "A flimsy ice cube ain't gonna save anyone in a serious situation, is it now? Each mutant ability has it's own superiority... though that highly depends on how you use your power."

"I'll have to wait for it to melt...", he pointed out but noticed the remaining amount of water in the glass. Raye took the glass once again and with a cupped hand, he poured the droplets of water onto his palm - once again freezing it and placed the minature ice-heart in Mai's free hand.

Mai blushed and smiled at the heart in her hand. "Thank you." Then she reached for the glass and held it under her clenched fist, where the heart was already beginning to melt. She did the same with the partically melted rose and the glass was almost full again. "There. Now you have more to work with." Mai said, smiling again placing the glass in his hands.

After Brody left the lounge, he hurried down the hallways to his own room, in a back corner of the building. It was fairly isolated and quiet. When he was there, the thoughts of everyone else in the building faded to a soft buzz in the back of his mind. He spent most of his time there, when he wasn't at classes or outside.
Changing into his pajamas, he flopped down on his bed and pulled a book out from under his pillow- The Horse and his Boy by C. S. Lewis. He was working his way though the Chronicles of Narnia, slowly but surely.
After reading for half and hour, he turned off the lights and fell asleep quickly.

Jackie's eyes widened as the other woman twisted her body impossibly far around - she half expected to hear her spine snap. "Yes, yes ... I suppose I am like you - although my speciality is not like yours. I can feel the wind." It was the best description she could think of. She ventured a wistful half-smile. "'They' is not those men - I wish it was that simple. The police are after me, and I wouldn't be surprised if the international police were notified. I was framed for a ...fatal incident ... earlier today. It'll be all over the news, and there will probably be repercussions against anyone with ... gifts. So I'm not safe, and neither is anybody around me, nor anywhere I go." She reiterated her point. "You should really go."

And what on earth was she to do, and where to go?

Darius noted sarcastically, but then opened up a few photos of the building that seemed to be highly guarded, surrounded by electric fences, guards and other various systems probably.

"If we can`t find anyone else to help us then we must do this on our own, I can enter and free the captive`s on my own... In my form I am able to slip trough the air ventilation to almost anywhere in the building. Yet getting them out might prove a problem, we would need someone to open the gates and ensure that everyone would make it to the closest sewer entrance....

So I thought of these two, it seems they aren`t affiliated with HYENA in any matter... Rhys Davisen and Jordan Reynolds. I learned of Davisen from another mutant, who had helped him control his powers, quite useful actually. Rearranging matter sounds rather useful, but so does mimicry of others powers eh?"

Darius said and crossed his hands in a prayer with a quiet smile.

Lyn kept walking around the corridors, it was impossible for her to go back to sleep, she was too much scared of another dream. She decided to go into the library of the school to read something, like she always did when she couldn't sleep. Sometimes she had even slept away in the library for many times, however she knew it was dangerous being surounded by so many things she could set on fire in her sleep. She opened the door and saw Mai and Raye sitting on the sofa. "Um...hello." she said in an unsure voice. "Am I disturbing? I...I couldn't sleep, I just wanted to read something to get distracted..."

(I really hope it doesn't bother you that I got into your dialogue, Kasou and Este, but I wanted to keep RPGing, so I needed some characters to talk to. If it isn't alright with you, I'll edit my post of course )

"Because every bit of information I have on them tells me that they are more tuned to the way of our thinking that HYENA`s. Might sound frail, but wouldn`t hurt to try as we can simply at first offer them to join us before revealing our plans. We have everything to gain and nothing to lose or well time perhaps, but I believe finding these two shouldn`t be too hard and Hassant didn`t seem to be in a hurry at the moment."

Darius reasoned with a rather naive attitude about the whole situation, but mainly because he believed that he could turn the two to his cause.

(Phoenix and Elenya? I was hoping you two will use your villain characters when my char comes looking for them?)

"In that case i suggest we start looking for them at dawn tomorro and in the mean time think what your prepared to give, in matters of power." she replyed "There's got to be something good in it for them and i bet the'll have hidden themselves well" She always judged people by what she herself would have done, and she presumed that these two would not be quite so easy to persude as she had been. She turned away and sat down on the bed.
