"Yes," Jack replied "Sayid thinks we can.." He turned to Sayid. "I'm going with you." He looked thoughtful at the others but then turned around and quickly made his way to the cockpit, hardly noticing the rain.

Shannon looked with amazement at the part of the plane. "Do you think there radio is still working..?" she asked excited. This could be their chance.. if the radio still worked they could give a signal to the outside world. "I'm going with you." she said determined. She had her mind set on helping to get out of here.. and no one could talk her out of it.

Sawyer frowned at Drew. Then he shook his head. "Never saw someone who liked rain that much" he said. "And trust me Bluey, I've been in many places.."

Drew rolled her eyes and said, "We need the rain for water suplies. Besidees it's refreshing. It washes things away. It makes them clean again". Then she sighed, gave Sawyer a smile, and followed Jack. She didn't care what Jack said or didn't say, she was going with them.
Sayid caught up with Jack and walked right beside of him. "Now we need to be careful. With the state that the plane is in...be very careful what you touch".
Charlie looked up a bit shocked. He wanted to help and he was going to help. So he shot off right behind of the group that was heading for the plane. He had not come all that way just to get left behind at the last minute.

Jack nodded in agreement with Sayid. "You're right. What do you propose? I don't know if it's safe to go in alone.." It was kind of a scary scene: through the rain the dark shade of the cockpit was visible in the twilight. He glanced at Drew and smiled at her confidence to come with them and when he thought about it, he didn't mind her coming along.

Sawyer looked at the plane with curiosity and realised that Jack and Sayid wanted to get in. He shook his head and mumbled: "Idiots.. they're all crazy.."

Arianna looked up at the precarious position of the plane. Had this been at any other time, she would have thought their expedition mad. But this was no ordinary island-that much she had ascertained. With a shrug she slowly followed the group that was to explore contents of the vessel.

Sayid turned to look at the plane and then turned to look at Jack once again. No. It most certainly is not safe to go in there alone. Then again it is not safe for anyone to go in there at all. However it is our best chance of getting off of this island at the moment, so it will have to be done." "Take me" Drew said firmly. "Most certainly not", Sayid replied. "You think I can not handle it" Drew asked with a bit of bite in her voice. Sayid gave her a disapproving look and then turned his gaze to Jack again. "Will go into the cockpit with me, Jack", Sayid asked.
Charlie looked at Arianna. "You are bloody mad. You can't go in there. It's dangerous. You'll get yourself killed." Charlie said with concern as he read the look on Arianna's face.

Arianna raised an eyebrow at Charlie. "You don't know that" she replied. With a sigh, she watched Jack and Sayid talking for a brief moment before turning back to Charlie. "There was always some risk heading into the jungle." she said continued. "None of us knew what we would find, yet for whatever reason all of us came. Why should we stop now if we can be of any help?"

Jack nodded "Of course I will.." He left his bagpack behind and walked over with Sayid to the opening of the cockpit and climbed in.

Shannon sat down on the grass and sighed. She felt ignored as she'd offered to help but didn't complain. Now she realised what her brother had been talking about and hoped she could still make it up so people would accept her.

Sawyer yawned and leaned back against a tree, trying to make himself comfortable in the sun which appeared as the rain had stopped. He didn't mind Sayid and Jack going in there, playing hero and saving the day. It was their role to play not his.

Sayid nodded in appreciation and headed to the plane which he then climbed into.
Drew crossed her eyes, took a deep breathe, and then followed Jack and Sayid. She couldn't have cared less what they had said. She was not one to take a back seat to anyone let alone a doctor and an Irqui that she hardly knew, (spelling?) when it came to dnagerous missions.
Charlie bit his bottom lip. He had not expected that reaction. "Welll I have a pretty good idea that it is dangerous in there. And yes we went out in the jungle but...I...I am just worried that you would get hurt. " Charlie said calmly. He then stalked off towards the plane.

Arianna quickly hurried to catch up with Charlie and the others. "Sorry. I did not mean to upset you." she told him. "And I do appreciate your concern. But I have never been one to let danger hinder me." she added with a wry smile as followed the group.

Drew threw her leg over part of the plane and hurried into it.
Charlie turned his head around just enough to be able to catch a glimps of Arianna. "Don't worry about it. I guess that some people are just...braver than me," He said with a slight smile. He then sighed and began to climb up into the plane.
Meanwhile Sayid began to search the plane for a transceiver or any other type of machinary that would allow them to communicate with those off of the island.

Arianna climbed in the plane taking care to make sure her movements would not tip its precarious balance. "Not so Charlie. It took courage to come into the jungle. And you did drag me away when the polar bear attacked." she said with a wry smile. "I bet you didn't even realize that." she stated as she looked around the plane for anything that may be of use to get them off the island. "Just remember, courage comes in many forms. For some it is the will to fight and take risks. And for others is simply will to go on living when death would be so much easier." With that she moved slightly to one side to search the wreckage of the plane. "Now let's hope we can find something to contact the outside world," she muttered to herself.

Jack climbed up into the plane: it was a horrible sight. There were still bodies of people in the plane and Jack bit his lip when he recognised the nice flying attendant who had given him alcohol during the flight. He managed to reach the cockpit and got himself in a kind of sitting position in the seat next to the pilot who's body was still in his seat.

Sawyer stretched on the grass and lay down. The sun immidiately dried his shirt and he paid no attention to Shannon who now also hesitantly walked over to the entrance of the plane.

Charlie smiled at Arianna. Maybe she was right and he wasn't a coward. Perhaps he was just brave in a different way. However he then headed towards the back of the plane.
Drew searched the plane for means of communitaction. However Sayid beat her to the punch. "Here! It is a transceiver." Sayid said as he gently picked it up.

Arianna walked quickly over to Sayid. "Can you get it to work?" she asked as she looked at it, hoping against hope that it could get them off the Island.

Drew walked over to where Arianna and Sayid where. "Good job," she said without even a trace of emtion.
Charlie came back into the front of the plane.

Very slowly and carefully, Misha approached the plane behind the others. She looked up to the wreck before she slowly climbed into it too. She began looking around in the inside with the others. She had no skills with electronics like this, but for her, nothing seemed to work here anymore, nothing they could use to call help from the outside world.
