She had forgotten, for the moment, that though her power was equal to the captains, she held absolute power only when the crew was not in situations as this one.

Galilee had somewhat backed down from giving direct orders. Now they were indirect.

The truth of the matter was that it was good for her to operate in situations out of the normal. Galilee was almost bound to Captain her own ship in the future, and you need to know how to operate under pressure to be Captain.

((yup, we're right next to a burning ship, my character spotted a survivor, though there might be others *wink wink... lol* and there's also a note on the main mast. We're about to board the ship to check for other survivors, and rescue the one my char saw))

Scarlett glanced back toward the burning ship, then at Nighthawk.
"I'm... I'm not sure, I didn't get a good look at his face..." she said as she watched other crew members jump over to the ship, while others cast lines so the burning ship wouldn't float away from them...
