Thank you It was just that Phoenix's character has an ability to learn things in an instant, will remember every single thing she reads and thus will be able to pick up languages fluently in no time so it kind of made her character a bit void if your character was able to do the same without a superpower

That is a good point Eru. Also, I changed my bio again to give my character languages better suited to the job of an archeologist.

Yes I've been uber-busy. Sorry about that people. I work as an au-pair and the parents have been away all week so I've had the kids 24/7 since Monday. But they're all back now so I have the weekend off so we should be able to start as soon as we get the bio down for the antagonist

SO sorry for keeping you guys waiting but I've been so incredibly busy with work that I haven't had much time (if any) to sit down. We're working on the bio for our antagonist right now. Once we have him up, I'll make the first RP post and thereafter proclaim this RPG begun


Some of those languages you changed into would be impossible to have fluent knowledge of due to the fact that there's next to no literature on them since they're so ancient. Just a point there.

Yes, I know. I suppose that I should have said that I was using 'fluent' liberally in those cases to mean that he has learned all that he can/studied all textes that he can get his hands on about the ancient languages, not that he can easily speak/read most every word in that language that he comes across. As for the not very fluent ones, that means that he knows the basic alphabet and some of the sounds of the letters, but very few.

Sorry for the confusion, that was just kinda in my head and didn't make it out into the post. So the languages he can really speak 'fluently' are English, German, Russian, Spanish, and Latin; and the ones that he know bits and peices of (more than the ancient languages) are Mandarin Chinese and Greek.

May I join? Sorry I am late, but I thought this was strictly off of the TV show instead of loosely. That changes a lot, especially from not being able to watch it from the ignorance of not knowing when it is on. *tear*

Personality: Brainiac, Sarcastic, Arrogant, but really nice once you get to know her.
Bio: Ripped out of being valedictorian from her laziness, Kira happily left high school as salutorian. She was born in San Franciso, and has been living around California all of her life. She is wanting to move closer to Hollywood, just because she can. However, at the moment, she is stuck in her job as a waitress in a San Diego restaraunt.
