((wow, you guys really take off!! good job!))
Turwaithiel glared at Kravyn and looked at the Ring of Fire he created around them. Blood contiuned to drip down her face as her mind raced.
The tree's contiuned to attacked everyone around them. About half of the evil ringbearers had come and tried to block there way towards the Elvish Lands for aid, and so far they were doing so, though Turwaithiel would never admit it freely.
Now, she had a choice. She knew in her heart what she was going to do. She couldn't leave her friends and fellow bearers to bear her element so she could escape. She heard Elariinya's words in her head.
"Turwaithiel, go! We cannot prevail if we all die here."
Turwaitihel ignored those words, no matter how right and wise they were and knew she would ask forgiveness to Elariyna later, if she had the chance. She had to tame the fire or break it's hold.
But how?
She thought worriedly and looked around franticially, knowing she wouldn't leave her friends to die in the hands of the flames. How to break it, how to break it...then, she knew the answer.
Of course! She thought, hitting herself mentally for being so stupid. Break the one who created it. She looked up to see her counter-elementist, the one who knew fire and it's bounds as well as her, but put his knowledge to the wrong use. He was still waiting for her answer. Her lips curled upward in a wolfish grin, showing all her teeth. She pulled out her sword and engulfed it in flames, looking through the flames into Krayvn's eyes.
"Come and fight me here, weakling. You hide behind your wall of fire, as usual. Always hiding behind the element. I think of my friends before myself and not the other way around. I also fight my own battles. Come and show me what you are really made of."

Kravyn's smile never faltered as Turwaithiel issued her challange. Time to go to plan B, then. He swept out one of his blades in the blink of an eye with his customary inhuman speed. Flames also raced along his blade, accuenting the flames that adorned its hilt and pommel. "I might think of my friends before myself, if I had any. My fellow ringbearers are just companions of oppertunity and I'm sure they feel the same way about me."
Kravyn spun the blade around his body in his customary one-bladed fighting style of Juyo spinning the blade around his body until you couldn't actually see where the blade currently was. The only reason he could accomplish this feat was his inhuman speed and agility. He then began to slowly advance on Turwaithiel. His smile dropped off his face, "Very well then. Let us fight, alone, without interference, elf against demon."

Turwaithiel's grin widened(sp?) as she got into a defensive position.
"Just be prepared to lose." She said, right before the fight began.

Cylinn closed her eyes. She was trying to find a person who's mental stability was weak, there she could go and control them with her power. When she found one she attacked the mind trying to gain control of the person's identity.
(anyone want to be that person?)

(Whoa. You guys had a lot of fun, didn't you!?
And, Amoniel, sure!)
Threng cursed as his mare threw him. He had taught her to be calm through the strongest of gales, but living trees were too much for her. The Bearer of the Ring of Air recovered quickly from his fall. Deamons. He could feel them, like he could sence the precence of his fellow ringbearers. Deamon would makes things bad.
Things quicky went from bad to worse. A wall of flame now covered thier exit. He was contemplating options when pain stabbed his mind like a knife. He shouted in anger. Someone was trying to gain control of his thoughts, sombody who thought the power of air was naught but a child's toy. He'd show them that he was somthing to be feared, that a correctly placed gust could break bones and throw down walls. Retaliating, he imagined hurricane strength wind around his mind, dislodging and tossing away any intruders. A faint blip in his mental radar told him the mind-intruder was behind him. He threw a phyisical gale her way, to deter her even more from trying to enter his mind.

Turwaithiel thought of another retort to throw at her demon.
"Maybe that is why evil never wins, eh? You never look out for the ones who fight with you and always think dirt of not only the ones you fight, but of your fellow warriors. Because you always want to be the hero and feel supieor(sp?) against all other evils and good. Your too busy watching your comrads back and making sure you are better than they are to watch your own. Aye, it is all clear now. No wonder light had always -and will always -win." She grinned once again and waited for an reply.

Cylinn smirked. Threng was a good fighter. She pulled all her energy and put her force into getting into his mind. She could feel him struggling.
Stop struggling, it will be worse for you. I just need you for a minute. If you give in, things will be better for your people... If not, it could be worse. She thought to Threng coldly.

Threng growled at the intrusion of his mind. She had opened the door and stuck her foot in. However, a door once opened may be stepped through both ways. He threw his power through their connection. Wind, both biting cold and skin-tighteningly hot was thrown into his opposer's mind, winding and whistleing through small flaws only air could pass. I will not back down He answered her. I have the power to smite you where you stand

[we need to decide which side wins]
Suddenly the enemy was gone. Scimitars in hand, Tlenes spun around. His eyes, glowing faintly in the darkness, scanned the battle. Turwaithiel and her counterpart were dueling - all fortune to her, provided she didn't get herself killed in her recklessness. Threng was doing something interesting, though by his expression it required immense concentration. He was just looking for Elarinya, when something slammed him full in the knees.
It hurt.
He narrowly managed to catch himself before he went sprawling. What was that - spikes? Looked like earthen-hued stalagmites. And... oh, this was absolutely peachy. The demon even had a mace. He looked down at his slender scimitars, then at the mace's wickedly spiked head that looked larger than his own. In went both scimitars, back into their sheaths. He whipped out two poisoned knives.
"Come on, then," he muttered. His obsidian ring flared again, shadow jumping him behind his enemy. The first of his knives went spinning through the air.

(thanks! I'm on a Pride and Prejudice kick right now :])
Cylinn felt the elements attacking her own mind. Cylinn faught them off, losing some ground in completely pocessing. Still she managed to hold on to some of his mind.
'I don't give up that easy.' She thought bitterly.

Rhalen had regained control of the ring's power, enough that he was able to hold back the tree branches. They weren't attacking with as much fury as they had been- perhaps the demon had been distracted or weakened somehow.
Glancing around, Rhalen saw several of the Chosen battling with Demons. Fortunately, none were attacking him at the moment, so he continued to keep his attention on the trees, reining in their furious lashes.

Elarinya glanced about briefly as the battle raged around her, relieved that the fury of the woods had decreased. She knew that several of her friends where engaged with one of the demons and each seemed to be holding their own at the moment. Nevertheless, she kept her eye out if she could be of any assistance.
