((lol... seen the first PotC, right? Remember Jack asks Mr. Cotton question, Gibbs says the parrot talks for him, Jack asks parrot same question, parrot says "we need a sail" and Gibbs says "We mostly figure that means yes" lol!))

Barbossa continued to blatantly ignore the imbecillic antics of the crewmen, despite the fact that it was growing increasingly difficult. What was so fascinating about a bird with a greatly limited vocabulary was beyond him, but clearly it was enough to enrapture a sizable chunk of his crew and thus prevent them from, heaven forbid, doing something productive.
It was times like this that he almost, almost missed Sparrow's presence aboard the Pearl. Daft, the man might be, and irritating beyond all comprehension, but the incessant bickering and verbal sparring did at least serve to keep his mind sharp. As it was, it was all he could do to resist the urge to blow one of their heads off as an example.
At long last (no thanks to the idling crew), the Pearl came up alongside the small dinghy. As Barbossa moved over to the railing and looked down, he wasn't sure if he was relieved or dismayed to see he'd accurately predicted at least half of the boat's occupants, the other being the half-drunken sod he'd outwitted to regain his ship in the first place.
"Jack Sparrow," he called out in as cordial a tone as could be afforded given the circumstances.

"Bye, birdy." Lee said as it flew off his shoulder and then he looked down and grinned at Captain Jack. He always liked Jack better than Barbossa and he loved talking to Mr.Gibbs, who was also with Jack. He grinned at Jake as he saw Pintel rush off to hide below deck. He shook his head, causing his shaggy black hair to get into his eyes.

An awkward, twisted face of unwanted eagerness faded off of Jack's face.
Despite Barbossa's voice which lacked happiness, the other crewmembers seemed to be most positive, and looked pleased to see his lop-sided grinning face.
Jack looked up, squinting in the sun and pointed up at the brighter faces of the crew. "Am I to understand that all of ye came to save me this time, because ye really, truly, and whole-heartily missed me?"
