That's awesome that you had a good time at camp, Jax. :) It's wonderful that you got to move closer to God and also in a very fun way, it seems. :) I'm sure you'll have a great time with the younger group- I can't wait to hear about it when you get back!!

Thankfully, things are getting more exciting here. :) I stayed up until 7:00 A.M. with my "twin", Kelly, watching movies and talking. I'm very tired now, but it was exactly what I needed. Nothing else new though. Talk to you guys soon. :)

Of course not, Pip. I love giving you a hard time, though. ;)

I've already gotten to see Pirates 3 a few times, which has been fun. I loved it too. :)

I'm sorry about the musical. :disgust: I'm sure you'll get it next time though.

That's so funny- my sister just started private vocal lessons today. I'm sure you're doing great- that sounds so cool!! :)

Of course I'll pray for Kelli. And speaking of family problems, can you guys pray for my friend, Stacey? Her parents are splitting up, and it's been kind of hard on her... thanks. :)

Nothing else new with me. I've been doing a lot of reading, and a lot of working. I'm working nearly every day at the barn, which has actually been quite fun. It's just working around kids and horses- what could be better?? (Well, for me, anyway- I know you wouldn't love the horse part, Pip. ;) :P)

Talk to you guys soon. (Hopefully once more this month, in Pip's case. Just joking, Pip. :P  )

Hey, don't worry aout it pip I realize how life can be. (althoughoften I miht sugest otherwise. lol)

Well, sounds like you have had a full scedual for yourself! And yeah, hope you get a part in another musical. :)

Private vocal lessons are good, I used to take them but we had to drive 1 hour to get there so when gass went up we had to stop. But I learned a lot from them, keep it up! :)

I will be sure to pray for Kelli and Stacy (hope I spelled those right)

It's good that you are working Arwen, a lot of kids don't even want to bother. And it's also a very good thing you enjoy it. I woudl say keep it up it's hard to find jobs you enjoy for most people. :)
As for me... we were actually quite busy today. After dinner we went and moved the lawn at my mom's store and then picked up some cat and dog food. Got back to the farm and unloaded it and saw that my sister's little beagle pup had something wrong with her. she was freeked out and couldn't walk very well.... So yeah it wsn't good. Well, we took her to the vet and they are not sure what is wrong with her. They think she maybe ate a toad. (anmd knowing her that is very likely) So if she is not better by mornign we might ahve to take her back... so hope it's all good.

Well, now that I have written you guy s a novel here i will wrap it up. tlak to you later and nice talking to you bothe.

So i'm excited.

:) We both already knew that you lost it a long time ago, Pip. ;) No, actually I love reading your responses sometimes. They make me laugh and brighten my day. :P

I'm happy your voice lessons have been such a success so far. It sounds like you're really enjoying them. :)

Thank you both for keeping Stacey in your prayers. :)

You sound busy, Jax!! And about your sister's beagle... eating a toad... I'm sorry, but I couldn't help but laugh. The mental image, I suppose. :P But I'll pray for her speedy recovery, and I hope everything works out well. My dog once ate a turkey (yes, no joke, a wild turkey) and we had to feed her a vaseline sandwhich so she would digest the bones correctly, or something. So I've been there before. :)

Sorry, Pip, I've never played Final Fantasy X... I'm usually not one for video games.

And I can't resist... I'll join you in your brief girly freakout... (it's only healthy every once in a long while, as it were) Orlando is definately extremely hot in AWE. Especially towards the end of the movie- namely everything after a certain scene involving a heart. I put all credit to the bandana. That bandana made everything all the more.... incredible. :swoon:

[/girlish rant]

Ok, I'm done now too. Sorry about that, Jax. ;) Nothing else new- just enjoying the lazy days of summer.

Talk to you soon!! :)

yes, same here, about teh toad....i laughed as well....as arwen said, the mental pic....but i'll be praying 4 her as well. A wild turkey, arwen?? lol sry, had 2 laugh @ that one as well. :]

omg, yes, i TOTALLY agree! It was DEF the bandana....like when that scene came & he had it on & everything i was like :-o. lol ok, yes, i'm sure u just luv hearing us rant about orlando, jax, so i'll stop now as well. lol

nothing much new here either...went to the pool yesterday & omg, actually got a tan line!!! (no, i'm not tan....my tan is pale, but THERE IS A TAN LINE!!!) lol idk if i've ever told u guys b4, but i'm like GHOSTLY pale. lol it sucks. :-P

omg, it's been so crazy dry here....we need rain like so bad. *prays for rain* our grass is turning brown :confused2:

ooh, good news! one of my friends moved to California the summer going into 7th grade, & i havent seen her since & she's coming to visit in July!!! yay!!! *claps* lol

oooh, idk if u have a Rue 21 there, arwen, but i went there yesterday & i got 2 shirts for $5 each, & one for $3!!! lol i was so excited....do u have a Rue 21 there? wut r ur fav stores? i'd ask u 2, jax, but i have a feeling u prob dont rlly pay attention. ;) lol

ok, well i'm done ranting now....oy, i've written another novel. lol well i'm sure to write the sequel tomorrow! hehe. i luv the summer....i'm in such a better mood when i dont have to deal w/ school drama & guys 24/7....lol ok well bye bye :bye2:

lol Don't worry about your posts.... trust me I have been worse in real life.. far worse. (which I am sure you have been crazyer as well but there is nothing wrong with crazy.... *grins widely* :)

Hey, I hope you have a great time with VBS pip. (personaly i despised it when I was still going.... *grins*) But that's just me. Vocal camp sounds interesting as wel... what is it like?

yeah, that is the kind of stuff my vocal teacher told me as well. lol (I will continue to keep both your friends in my prayers)

sorry never played final fantasy anything. To be honest I didn't think it was a very god game. The only game I play is an online MMORPG (masively multiplayer online Roll playing Game) It's a star wars game.. go figure. lol

lol it is a bit funny I supose. Now that she is completely recovered it's easyer to laugh about it though. Now a turky... thats something else. How big of a dog was that to eat the entire turky?!

Well.... I supose that's uh.... natural for girls. *shrugs* I don't know. But hey, it does not bother me if you guys want to talk about that stuff. I personaly dont' find it to interesting.. but it doesn't bother me.
and no... don't really pay attention to tags on clothing... infact i don't even know what size wear. Seriously I just look at it and if it fits I get it.. *shrugs* Besides that most of my cloths I have had for 3-4 years now so.. yeah.

(Thought I would try to at least write as much as you guys... :P)

Lol- no, it was quite the funny incident with the wild turkey. Especially since it was seriouisly almost as big as my dog at the time. :P We really have no idea how she managed it. But she didn't eat the entire turkey, thank goodness. There was still quite a bit... left. We really have no idea how she managed it. Especially because she's such a sweet, calm dog. It was completely out of character. But she managed to corner it, we think... :P

All I'll say about the bandana- :swoon: And that I was just a tiny bit jealous of Elizabeth. Just a tiny bit, though. ;)

Oh, I'm ghostly pale as well, Pip. I simply don't tan. I burn horribly, and sometimes that eventually turns into a tan. But my skin is extremely white, too, no matter how much I'm in the sun.

That sounds fun about your friend. I have a friend that moved to Florida and comes to visit occasionally, so I know how exciting that can be. :)

Yes, we do have a Rue 21 here. That's cool about the shirts. I love it when you find good stuff for that cheap. :) Hmmm.... some of the stores I go too... well, I guess Gap, Old Navy, and sometimes American Eagle and Forever 21 and such. :P I'm not too huge at shopping, though, so I couldn't tell you much more on the subject. :) Personally, I'll probably agree more with Jax on this one... sorry. ;)

I just finished rereading all of the Harry Potter books again. I wanted to do that before the 7th one comes out. Some of my friends and I are already planning something to go to the midnight book release together when it comes out, and having a huge reading-marathon type sleepover when it comes out. Thankfully, I have good friends who are as crazy about reading as I am, so it should be fun. :)

Hmmm... nothing else really. I'm having a lazy day today, since I don't work on Fridays. :) That's about it here.

[/novel]

Talk to you soon!! :)

Well..... my ear inection(s) are finally going away... and now... I have an infection in my other ear! I don't know what the deal is but it's pretty annoying. And it kept me up most of the night because it hurt so bad and now I feel kinda lowsey... *sighs* Oh well, that's life right?

About hary potter... I am sure I have asked this before but I never can understand this. how can a christian read harry potter and think it's ok? I mean no offense to you guys, and I don't want to be rude I just don't understand it. *shrugs*

I just came across this verse it he bible today.

Isaiah 47:9
"But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments."

Oh, I'm so sorry, Jax. I hope you feel better!!

About Harry Potter- sorry, Jax, I didn't know you didn't like it. I guess I can see where you're coming from- I've known other people to say the same.

Honestly, I see nothing wrong with it. I know that if you didn't know a lot about the books and thought it was all about sorcery and everything, it would seem horrible. But it's not like that at all once you read them.

Basically, the main theme of Harry Potter is the battle of good vs. evil. There's actually a lot of Christian symbolism if you read between the lines- after all, the author's two biggest inspirations were C.S. Lewis and JRRT. You'd be surprised to know that there are a lot of "moral lessons" within Harry Potter. The entire thing is about how the good side, including Harry Potter and his friends, use love and good to stop the evil things Voldemort does to try to conquer death as he spreads evil and destruction.

So I can see where you're coming from, Jax- if you don't know too much about the plotline it does seem like bad "witchcraft" or something along those lines. But I promise you, there is nothing in the story line that promotes evil-doing or bad. Actually, it promotes the good- love, friendship, and bravery, used to conquer evil.

Anyway, sorry for ranting. Just thought I'd share my views on it is all. :P :)

Ok, I see where you can say that. but see the thing is to me... that doesn't really matter.

The bible says to stay away from Witchcraft and all appearance of evil. Harry potter and his friends might be "good" in the book and all and do good things... But they still use magic and spells which the bible says is bad. I guess that's my main problem with it.

And like I said I am not trying to change your mind about it or anything, I just don't understand it really... why some christians say it's ok when the bible seems so clear to me on that subject saying it's wrong. *shrugs* I don't know.

And I do appreciate your point of view, thanks for the explination. :)

Yes, I can completely understand your point of view.

I guess the main thing to me, since I basically grew up with Harry Potter, is that it's a child's fantasy land, where you can make things fly with a flick of the wrist, go back in time, and go on crazy adventures where good always conquers evil. To me, the supposed "witchcraft" isn't dangerous, just a humerous "what if" type thing. (if that makes any sense whatsoever.) Anyway, I'm done ranting about that. That's my point of view, but I completely respect yours and know where you're coming from. :)

Nothing new here. I've been writing and reading quite a lot, and I might start doing an internship for Congressman Tom Tancredo soon for a government project. That should be interesting. Anyway, I'll talk to you guys soon. :)

That doesn't sound like fun. Hope you feel better. :)

It would be more helping with his whole campaign thing, and learning more about government itself, mostly. To be honest though, I'm not exactly sure what I'll be doing yet. :P
