Jena looked about her to see if there was any danger. She sensed none or anyone else. She nodded to herself. And turned back to the messenger.
"What is it?" Jena asked.
"My Lady, Kenneth sends his love. And hopes every things okay." The messenger said.
Jena let out a sigh of relief. "Tell my husband I am fine and can't wait to see him later on."
"I will my lady." The messenger nodded.
Jena smiled and passed him the note. As he passed her one. She carefully left him behind and started making her way to the meeting again. 'Hopefully I didn't miss to much.' She thought.
(I needed Anakin there so he could see that she was married. Then it would help with later on during the time Anakin was killing the Jedi.)

Anakin stood behind a pillar and stuck his head around the corner, to where he could only see what was happening with one eye. He noticed the servant handing Jena a message. He heard the servant deliver the message. At that point Anakin's thoughts went wild. "Kenneth? Love?" His curiousity made him listen for more. Then he heard Jena say, "Tell my husband I am fine and can't wait to see him later on." Anakin was in disbelief. "It is forbidden for a Jedi to love." He thought. Although, it seemed wrong, his thoughts drifted to Padme but were disrupted as he saw Jena coming his way to go back into the meeting. He quickly pulled his head back around the pillar hoping not to have been seen.

Jena thought she saw some movement but didn't feel a disturbance so she shrugged and went into the meeting.

Jena nodded. It was really a mess. A big one that needed help but didn't have any. 'Was there hope for it?' She thought. She knew the Jedi couldn't protect the republic as Mace had said once they were keepers of the peace not soliders.

Padme sighed. "I fear democracy is dieing." She stood to leave. "There is no purpose in this congregation. Only bickering is taking place. I'm leaving."

Anakin almost made a huge sigh of relief as Jena walked by. He was sure she saw him, but apparently not. He then left the spot where he was hiding and walked slowly into the meeting, trying not to make a disturbance. Once in the room, he took a stand in a shadowed corner.

"I fear too Padme." Jena said soflty. And she did it wasn't right. In some ways it looked like near destruction for the Republic. It seemed like it was close at hand.
