"The Mall's fine." Ace said quietly as she looked at the floor trying not to think about the blood.

"Think you'll find anthing?" Shonnalen asked as she watched Bret.

Brendon sat on the roof thinking. After a wile he drifted off to sleep.

Shonnlen stood up. "Alright... I'm gonna take her and start heading back toward the mall. See ya around Bret." She smiled.

"I will ... no worries." She turned and looked at Ace. "You ready?" She asked, then forwned and shook her head.

Ace nodded but didn't see the frown that crossed Shonnalen's face. The two girls headed for the door.

Aliana raced down the twisting streets with all the speed she could muster. So far there had been no clues to the man she now hunted on the path she took. Finding one possible route that led to the hospital, she slowed and darted behind a wall. Placing her hand at her side, she removed her gun from the holster and cocked it before proceeding down the darkened lane any further.

Shonnalen was only a few steps from the door when a sharp pain sent her to her knees. She cryed out and clapped both hands to her head.
Ace was quickly at her side. "Take it easy... relax." She calmly told her, then helped her up and lead her back into the hospital. "Help me! ..." She wimpered as tears stung her eyes. Ace helped her sit dwon on the floor, where they waited for Bret or one of the other two people to find them.

the man lurked through darkend shadows his gun was out and his steps were quiet. he saw a girl just around the corner darting about just as he did.

Trudy looked around then darted into another corner. she looked at the sky she could barely see the sun but figured it had been about 30 mins. she kept going down the ally way.

the man kept close watch on this girl and steped into another corner.

Trudy looked around and still saw no one. she slowly put her gun down to her side. she took a deep breath and darted into another corner. this time she hit something that felt like a person. she tried to scream but a hand came over her mouth.

the man had his hand claped over her mouth, he wasnt expecting her to jump on him like that. but he was going to use her.
he tore off a peice of his shirt and made a gag. he shoved it in her mouth to muffle her screams. he draged her away to the place he called home. it was a hole in the wall. litrally, the man opend the side of a wall. it was a door but it blended in well.

Trudy stoped screaming she knew it wasnt worth it. she now started to cry. she didn't know what was going to happen.

the man threw her into a small chair and bound her legs and arms to it and then pulled out his gun and then got a kinfe. he ungaged her and looked her straight in the eye. " how did Ace find you?" he asked harshly

Trudy did not answer.
the man slamed his hand across her face making her lip bleed.
" HOW DID ACE FIND YOU?" he yelled.
Trudy started to cry harder.
" you have used up my pasints girl." he said pushing the chair to the ground. " Trudy...that is your name! your going to wish you had never been born." he said as he walked twards her with the kinfe.

Aliana trod carefully down the lane, keeping close to the wall and being careful to remain in the shadows. As she drew near to the end of the path and discovered nothing, she cursed to herself, knowing that her quarry took another road. With that she returned her gun to its holster and raced out of the lane. She headed toward their meeting spot, hoping that Trudy would be there with more positive news. But when she arrived, she found that much to her dismay the girl was nowhere in sight. "Trudy?" she called as she gasped for breath, knowing that the girl should have been there by now. As the minutes ticked by without sign of her friend, a sense of panic began to fill her. "Trudy?!" she called again, this time much louder. "Oh no." Aliana murmured to herself as she raced to the mall, hoping against hope that the girl would be there. "Trudy?" she yelled again as she arrived back at the mall. "Trudy!" she screamed again, her voice tinged with panic. "Brendon! Are you there?" she called hoping he had heard word from her.

Bret ran out to the front of the hospital. "What's wrong?" he asked, concern written across his face.

Brendon was just comming dwon the stares when he heard Aliana calling him. He ran dwon the las few steps toward her, "Het what's wrong .. take it easy." He said slaowing his pace till he was standing in front of her.

Shonnalen cryed out again as another wave of pain washed over her. "Help ..." She pleaded. "Make it stop!"

Ace looked up at Bret. "It a simptome of the ageing sickness. She's only going to get worse if she's not treated."

"Trudy!" Aliana cried, almost breathless, her eyes shining with worry. "Have you seen her?" she asked Brendon, praying that he could give her good news.

"No...not since this morning before she went off withyou... where is she?" He asked his overprotective side comming out now.

Aliana paled as she heard the news. "Oh no." she whispered as she turned her back toward him and looked to the door. After a moment passed, she turned to face him again. "Shonnalen suspected that an intruder had been spying on us ever since Ace arrived. I told Trudy about my suspicions and we agreed to go and track him. She tried calling for you, but we couldn't find you, so we just left." She paused again before she uttered, her voice no louder than a whisper. "We ended up splitting up-thinking that since we were both armed we could cover more ground. She ended up going down the back alley. The one I suspected Shonnalen used. That is the last I saw of her. We were supposed to meet just a little bit away from her in an hour, but she never came." Aliana glanced down at the floor as she instinctively crossed her arms. "I never should have left her alone..." she murmured more to herself than Brendon
