Daerka sighed lightly. The party did seem quite empty, although she had a suspicious feeling that many of her fellow hobbits were hanging about the food table which was out of sight. The thought of drunken hobbits made her smile..
"5 days did you say?" she asked Tigerlily. "Plenty of time to enjoy ourselves then."

The five hobbits snuck through the main party area back to Gandalf's tent. Frodo and Merry hoisted Prisca and Pippin up into the big case of firework while Sam watched out for Gandalf.

"This one?" Prisca asked holding out a firework for Frodo and Merry to examine.
"No.. bigger," Merry commented to which Frodo nodded his head and laughed.
"Alright," Prisca said as she dove further into the fireworks."

After some time, Sam ran over to the group, who had already chosen three firework to set off, and yelled, "Hide!" Merry, Sam, and Frodo dashed off into the party, and Pippin and Prisca tunneled their way further into the pile of fireworks.

Goldie headed over towards the Party Tree when a glimpse of the hobbits caught her eye. "Hey!" One of them was running away with a couple of fireworks. Goldie laughed. No point trying to stop the craziness now! She ran to catch up with them. If there was going to be a fireworks show, she might as well see it up close. She wondered if Pippin knew a food fight was in the works back at the table...

"Gandalf gone yet?" Frodo panted.
Sam looked over towards the tent, "Yes, and he took our fireworks."
"Great, back to step one."
"At least we weren't caught," Merry pointed out.
"Very true," Frodo consulted.

The three hobbits ran back to the tent and called out for Pippin and Prisca. "You two alright?" Sam asked.

"Yes," Prisca replied for both Pippin and herself.
"It appears that Gandalf took the fireworks that we were going to use," Merry commented.
"Oh, man," Prisca said in frustration as she looked back to see that Pippin went back down, "What are you doing down there, Pip?"
"I got some!" came the squeeling voice from under the fireworks.
"How big?" Merry asked.
Pippin then jolted one of the fireworks up through the pile and showed them to the group. Awe reigned through the whole group with Merry's mouth open in surprise, Frodo following Merry's gesture. Prisca squeeling from excitement, and Sam talking a moment from watching for Gandalf to see the firework size.
"How many are there, Piip?" Prisca asked when the awe wore down.
"Enough for each of us to have two," Pippin smiled and dove back down into the firework pile.

Humming quietly to the music emanating from the party field, Daerka made her way under the shade of the party tree still sipping at her punch. She eyed a group of hobbits with firecrackers suspiciously but thought nothing of it since she was enjoying herself so much.

Pippin and Prisca tossed the rest of the fireworks down that Pippin had found, and they both then hopped out of the firework pile. The looks on all of their faces was absolute joy seeing the size and colors filling the outside of the fireworks.

"Let's get out of here," Sam said, "before Gandalf comes back." All of them quickly agreed, grabbed their two fireworks, and dashed off to a solitary place to light them.

"Hey!" Breathing heavily, Goldie finally caught up with the hobbits. Merry looked at her oddly, remembering her reaction before. "Oh, what the heck. It's a party, so we're going to have fun! I know a place Gandlaf would never look." Goldie led them to the tent right next to the Party Tree. Many people were around, but no one paid much attention to a bunch of hobbits. The crouched down behind the tent. "Ready?"

Marroc walked side by side with Cleallyra, sipping his punch. "This better be sanitary." He commented, scowling. "It sure does taste good."

He surveyed the area. Not many more people had arrived, but he did hope they would pretty soon. After all, it was growing nearer to night (((where i live at least ))), and the sky was darkening. Near the tree, a large tent was set up, which the core hobbits, Goldie, and Prisca were messing around with fireworks. He chose to ignore them.

Just then they saw Gandalf approaching. "Drat!" Goldie muttered. "Quick!" Said Merry, stuffing the fireworks under some brush and bushes next to them. When everything had been hidden, the group scattered into the crowds to return later.

Fireflies were beginning to blink green in various spots around the grass, even though the sun had not set. Night was approaching and Cleallyra was hoping to catch sight of some fireworks and from what the others were planning, that would be a definite event.

"Man," Prisca grunted, "Gandalf always seems to come right when we are about ready to do something."
"Tell me about it," Merry said as he turned to Prisca and then looked back to see if he had gone yet.
"We need to find a better place to hide so we can launch the fireworks," Prisca said, continuing her thought process.
"I know just the place," Frodo interjected, "follow me."

The group ran off, following closely behind Frodo without trying to be suspicious.

Tiger Lily yawned and took one last look at the breathtaking sight of the Party Tree. She was going to turn in for the night, but couldn't wait to return later. The lights glistened in the night, and the summer air was cool on her skin.

Merry snuck into the Party Tree area and wandered around, looking for matches. He said hi to a few people, nodded to others, and just waved to the other others. Although, his underlining mission was to find those matches.

Once Merry was able to sneak over to Gandalf's tent, he looked around the area for something that looked like it could be used to make fire. "Fireworks, more fireworks, even more fireworks," Merry told himself when he came upon the matches. "Perfect," Merry praised himself as he grabbed a box and dashed off back to the garden.

(Merry heads back to the garden.)

Primula rushed in as quickly as her hobbit feet could carry her.
"Drat!" she muttered under her breath as she opened the small gate to the party tree.
"Always late, always late," she nervously looked around at the already-commenced party, she strolled down and watched as the hobbis laughed and chattered merilly, excitement bubbled everywhere, and everything glistened with joy.
She gave her golden curls a few pats, and smoothed out her simple dress, and began to look around hoping to be able to find someone she might know...

Daisy strolled, stretching, into the party green. Admiring the ginormous tree, she looked around for any familiar faces. All she saw, though, were hobbits she had met briefly the night before.
