Well considering Barbossa had the ship for, can't remember, ten years?, he probably has some claim on it. Even if he stole it.
Hey, they're pirates.

It's Barbossa, and he wants a ship, Jack had the Pearl for... was it two or three years? So Barbossa had it for the rest, then got killed, and brought back to life, and still thinks its his.

Hello again ! Don't worry, I'm not going to state any opinions here, I just have a question to ask! (Actually, this is my friends question. I didn't know the answer, but I told her I did know some people who probably would! )
Okay, in Sinapore, Sao Feng had Will in some bucket of water, right? So, ummm, how'd Will survive? How could he breathe?
That's all.

^Or perhaps it was the same Disney magic that made sure Lizzy's legs were cleanshaven for the island scene.

I just had to say, good answer! Very good answer, Anie Surion!
Dark Queen of Angmar, I may regret this but I just have to ask, what were the avatars of? (I mean if it is clena enough to post the answer here) I mean what was it of like Will pointing a sword at Jack?
JF, Hmmm I like Gibb's first name. It just sort of rolls off the tounge, doesn't it? Thanks for filling me in. I have no idea why I did not know that.
You are probabley one hundred percent correct. I do remember Norrington saying that Norrington. It would make sense if it happened that he was thrown out of the navvy (like Norrington). That makes me wonder just what for though. You could be right though and it had to do with be involved in some way with pirates. (ponders) Oh well I supose that information is left to the imagination of fan fiction authors. lol
Your Tinkerbell answer is great too!

I was surprised too...especially the look on dear Lizzie's face. Hey, wait, where'd you get screencaps?! And, I like your Tinkerbell answer too.
Thanks, Drew's Destiny! I just couldn't resist. After we got out of the theater my friends and I spent like 5 minutes discussing that miracle.

hello all! Wow, already more than hundred pages here...
Okay, so I've watched the film, and it's 10000 times better than the 2nd one, but I can't imagine it would be very hard to make it just a little better.. yeah, that's me view.
- But I think there was a little too mucb action in it - like maybe half an hour too much? It got a little tiresome. And Master-of-Tookland and I discussed something about the 'wedding' too - come on, that wasn't too good, was it?

All I know is, I felt uncomfortable watching it. It wasn't romantic. It was just....un-needed.
It was very unromantic and plain revolting. There's a definite difference between lust and real love, and that scene was just an indulgence in lust. Nothing love-like in it at all. Now, the scene where Will almost died was romantic. I'm not a huge fan of Will or Elizabeth, or even W/E, but I was moved to tears when Elizabeth started crying at him.

Thistel Sandybanks, Personaly I loved Willabeth's wedding as I have said many times it is my favorite on screen wedding of all time. I did not see their wedding as lustfuly perpelled either. I found it romantic overall, in the sense that they were getting married prepared for better or worse. Weddings are allmost always romantic (if they are weddings that are they are going through with for the "right" reasons) in my opinion. I could have done with a really sweet and personal line from the Elizabeth to Will and or vice versa but overall I will still say that I indeed found it romantic.
I do not see anything about Willabeth lustful over all. (Yes, there was one scene with them at the end of At World's End that might fall into that catagory but you can not define a couple based on one and only one scene, in my opinion.) Willabeth was about finding true love and sacraficing everything to hold onto that love (Will "died" for Elizabeth and Elizabeth gave up a life of luxary). They were sweet to one another most of the time and took things very slow. In fact that did not even kiss to the end of Curse of the Black Pearl. Sparrowbeth was the couple from Pirates of the Caribbean that I would define as lustfuly based. With Sparrowbeth it was alot more about the physical elements, I think. For example Sparrowbeth's kiss in Dead man's chest and their scene on the island in Curse of the Black Pearl. I will say that they had....major chemistry but I usaly do not go for that type of couple (there are two or three exceptions though...I ship Alot of couples. lol). I also saw Sparrowbeth being about taking what you want and that is certainly not romantic in my opinion.

I don't think there was too much action in it, but then you are talking to the girl who will sit through 4-hour movies chock-ful of action, so my opinion probably isn't the most normal. And I actually loved the wedding scene, though I've heard it called cheesy by a lot of people and I kind of see why.
