*Sen put the ocarina away, and spoke to the others.*
That iis the Athenarian lament for the fallen. I have heard it all to many times...

Deawen nodded slightly she had to take the entire harp apart so she did not really pay attention she esembled the harp plucked a few strings tuned it satsfied dhe played her favourite melody she sang very softly
"land of the bear
land of the eagle
land that gave us
birth and blessing,
we shall go home
across the mountains
we shall go home
we shall go home
across the mountains

we wandered far to
a land of horses
land we call home
land we claimed
it was a choice
we made
we shall go home
across the mountains"

Morwen awakened refreshed to the sounds of a lap harp. Wishing to join in, she grabbed her lute and joined in.

Deawen stopped she was blushing she forgot that when she was with her men they would sing along because since they were banished and could not go home it was good to be able to sing about there loss.
Artinwe had watched Deawen play when she first started he smiled as she finished.

(Okay, i just need to get this out of my system. It's really by Lord George Byron.)

"What about this one: She walks in Beauty" Deawen nodded and played the short prelude, and they sang...

She walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:
Thus mellow'd to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.

One shade more, one ray less,
Had half impair'd the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress,
Or softly lightens o'er her face;
Where thoughts serenely sweet express
How pure, how dear their dwelling place.

And on that cheek, and o'er that brow
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow,
But tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below,
A heart whose love is innocent!

Both Deawen and Morwen jumped up and ran into the woods, looking for suitable sticks, leaving the others confuzzled. :confuzzled:
